Isokinetic Testing Analysis Of The Muscle Function Of Patients With Osteoarthritis Of The Hip

Objective:To study the muscle strength of patients with hip osteoarthritis before total hip replacement treatment through the isokinetic muscle strength test, in order to observe the association between the tissue balance and X-ray photo of different degrees of patients with hip osteoarthritis.Methods:Make20patients with osteoarthritis of hip in only one side into four groups by Kellgren and Lawrecne’s Osteoarthritis grading standards:Group A(Grade Ⅰ),Group B(Grade Ⅱ),Group C(Grade III),Group D(Grade IV).The isokinetic muscle strength of20patients’ two sides hip were tested and analyzed, and then make Harris Score and Visual Analogue Score of them.Results:1. The ipsilateral and contralateral peak torque ratio:A group>B group>C group>D group.(P<0.05)2. PT/BW, TAE, AP, TW indices in four groups of patients with:A group>B group>C group>D group.(P<0.05)3. A correlation of four groups of patients with PT/BW and Harris score, VAS score.(P<0.05)Conclusion:1.The muscle strength of osteoarthritis side was significantly lower than that of healthy side.2.A correlation between severity of muscle strength index decrease degree and the clinical and X-ray reflect.
