The present dissertation describes Positive-Negative Interrogative Sentences of Chinese from remote antiquity period to Qing Dynasty including remote antiquity period, the Spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, Qin Dynasty and Han Dynasty, Wei Dynasty and Jin Dynasty, the Northern and Southern Dynasties,Sui Dynasty and Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties, Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty etc. The main purpose of our study is to reveal theoretical significance underlying the origin and development of Positive-Negative Interrogative Sentences of Chinese.Among two types of Positive-Negative Interrogative Sentences of Chinese "VP-Neg-VP" appears first, then "VP-Neg" appears."VP-Neg-VP" was in a dominant position,"VP-Neg" was few. from the Spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period to the Northern and Southern Dynasties,"VP-Neg" occupy a main position."VP-Neg-VP" became more and more in number and New negative in " VP-Neg" appear.Positive-Negative Interrogative Sentences of Chinese originated the opposite Sentences that were set of two. Positive-Negative Structure has syntactic function. The negative "Wu"(无)in "VP-Neg" changed into function word because of phonetic change.
