The research object of this paper is the Hongshan Culture jade, focusingNiuheliang unearthed jade, while including other locations where is a clear place ofgathering and collecting jade and jade unearthed in the ruins later. Conclusions are asfollows:On the basis of a collection of355jade type of analysis, and combined withvarious types and geographical distribution of the end positions unearthed tombs, thispaper partitions and stages Hongshan Culture jade, divides into two areas Chaoyangand Chifeng, and summarizes the main features of the district jade. Divides periodinto five phases, the first phase corresponds to the early and middle stages of theHongshan Culture, second is equivalent to the niuheliang lower stage, thirdcorresponds to the stage tomb N2Z1first and second layer, fourth corresponds toN2Z1third layer, and fifth is equivalent to N2Z1fourth layer. This paper analysiseseach issue of the new-type appearence and disappearance of species, and also sums upthe slotted, angled cylindrical devis, bi, cloud-shape hook and so the development ofseveral popular-type of evolution. It is important to indentify the distinction ofHongshan Culture handed down jade.Neolithic jade is not only a practical device, but carries the spiritual cotent of art,jade burial in the tomb is the location of the call may not be able to fully reflect it’sfunction. Therefore, this study Hongshan Culture jade function is associated with theworship unearthed from the environment, the secondary burial unearthed jade textureof secondary alteration and released in three areas jade burial place of the typicallocation for explored.There are all kinds of jade inside and outside edges are bladed A1-type bi andirregularly shaped blade edge is dominated, so this paper classifies them as thenorthern region of the northeastern region. From the time point of view, the blade edge jade has strong stability in the region, appeared early in the early HongshanCulture, disappeared late in the late Hongshan Culture, haminmangha culture andnanbaoligaotu-type was not affected by Hongshan Culture.This paper also referred to the relationship between Hongshan Culture jade andcontemporaries Dawenkou culture jade and Lingjiatan culture jade, and the impact tothe Shang dynasty jade.
