This thesis use 《Niuheliang——Excavation Report on A Hongshan Culture Site (1983-2003)》 as the research materials. Take a study of Niuheliang Hongshan Culture Site on periodization, and on the basis of periodizated Niuheliang Site, the author has conducted research on Settlements analysis to the Niuheliang Hongshan Culture Site. Besides, the author has discussed whether the Niuheliang Hongshan Culture Site had already entered the era of civilization.This paper has divided into four parts.The first chapter:Preface. Introduce the Niuheliang site research history and the background of this study, purpose, object and significance.The second chapter:Analysis and segmented Niuheliang site locations. In fifth place as a yardstick, respectively, of Niuheliang site fifth place, second place, sixteenth place, the first location and the third location and other sites are segmented.The third chapter:the Niuheliang Hongshan Culture Site studied stage and age, through the analysis of the location and segmentation, the Niuheliang site is divided into three phases, equivalent to the Hongshan Culture ofthree period——early stage, mid-stage, and the later stage. Put forward "the Niuheliang site existence time throughout the Hongshan Culture in the early stage of three stage", Niu Heliang will be early ritual sites belong to the Hongshan Culture in the middle, and the Miaodigou culture roughly equivalent.In the past academic circles generally think "Niuheliang site belongs to the late period of Hongshan Culture sooner or later" was revised. This is the basis of study of this paper on Niuheliang Hongshan Culture Site.The fourth chapter:Based on the third part of the research, on the process of formation, development venation Niuheliang Hongshan Culture Site group, carding the ruins of the relationship between time and space point. And the cow river beam site is already entered the stage of civilization are discussed.The fifth chapter:Conclusion.
