With the rapid development of science technology,the nature of traditional Railway Passenger Transport has been changed.High-speed trains,intelligent system and aircraft seats have been widely used these years.According to the application of improvement on the saloon coaches’ design,people can enjoy the more comfortable and safe journey service than the past;the companies can keep cost down and profits growth.However,there is a gap between passengers’s willingness and actual diffusion situation.The different saloon coaches are varied from the diffusion between chair arrangements and their interior style design.Therefore,it is necessary to understand the user experience of passengers in high-speed trains profoundly and make clear the basic principles of-systematic layout planning for passenger cars in high-speed trains,which will be helping the designers or enterprises to design a satisfactory car.Nevertheless,there were little research on the problem of the high-speed train passenger car in the field of user experience and passenger cars’ arrangements.In the realistic and theoretical background,it is valuable and needful to conduct this research.In view of the insufficiency and limitation of recent research on the saloon cars’ interior arrangements of high speed train,this paper,based on systematical design,according to the research methods of overseas advanced interior arrangements ideas of high-speed passenger cars,in the foundation of analyzing user sensation semantics,systematically studies the saloon cars’ interior arrangements of high speed train from three dimensions:systematic layout analysis of high speed passenger cars,multi-unit systematic layout of high speed passenger cars and the construction of a systematic layout platform on passenger cars of high-speed trains as well as applying this platform to the practice,and it has thus created a systematic layout planning by which it is suitable for these high-speed trains.(1)Based on analysis and induction of the research situation on the saloon cars’ interior arrangements of high-speed trains,layout method and user sensation semantics in the product design,this paper studies the semantics of saloon cars’ interior arrangements with quantitative method on the basis of user sensation.Summarizing the characteristics of the passenger cars’arrangements in the foreign high-speed trains,this paper creates a virtual prototype of the empty and filled paper prototype car to carry out the perception analysis of seat arrangements and proposes that the arrangements feature of two row seats is relatively more popular.Compared with perception analysis of traditional passenger car,it selects eight classification dimensions of Semantic Environment Description to design the car interior style perception preference questionnaire using semantic differential meters.According to expert interview and questionnaire,this paper selects semantic differential method to generate the interior style perception of the car and identifies the design features,in which symmetric arrangements has more advantage of asymmetrical arrangements.(2)There have been some considerable improvements to systematic layout planning in enhancing the analysis of a boarding and unloading comfort for all the public,and the space requirements’ analysis of man-machine works and passenger behaviors.It also brings systematic analysis of passenger cars and virtual simulation together.According to transfer service for drop-off/pick-up,this paper constructs all kings of passenger cars,models and validates the design features,in which symmetric arrangements has more advantage of asymmetrical arrangements.By the analysis of human machine operation in systematic layout of passenger cars,it firstly introduces the virtual human in the man-machine engineering software JACK.By constraining cars’ arrangements spaces of seat arrangements,traffic spaces and spaces of tea tables,it is summarized the man-machine space requirement in passenger cars’ arrangements;By means of passenger behaviors,distinguishing between long and short distance based on two hours division that Andersson E et al.has proposed,acquiring the vehicle video of Beijing-Shanghai and Shanghai-Ningbo,analyzing the behavior record of video with the behavior observation and analysis system XT10,it has finished behavior sequential data established,suggested the cars’ arrangements by which passenger behavior affects under different time periods,and improved systematic layout analysis of high-speed passenger cars.(3)Given the problem of traditional cars’ arrangements,it forecasts the situation in increasing passenger capacity,and begins with a statistical analysis of the space requirements of their unit,gathers,organizes and analyzes information on the algorithm of compartment elements.A saloon car is categorized into two groups according to the seat.It includes the compartments with a table board seat arranged or not,and with seats fixed or rotated,and so on.At the same time,an auxiliary graphic symbol is used to describe the layout practice of the car’s capacity expansion.The multi-unit layout principles and methods of the passenger cars are summarized,by which it summers up the three principles:the systematic layout and model interaction of the car system based on the multi-unit cooperation,the multi-unit systematic layout based on parametric designs and the cars’ layouts in high-speed trains for carousel emulation.It puts forward a method of systematic layout planning of passenger cars for high-speed trains.(4)In order to present the link between theory and practice by the method of saloon coaches’ systematic layouts,this paper constructs the platform with high-speed train on the basis of multi-unit layout theory of the cars,integrating different kinds of software such as Java,and so on.It researches and tests a car for example,which conducts the practice of multi-unit parametric co-arrangements and simulations for high-speed train and proves the practical value of this theory.In addition,this method,which embodies the idea of humanization and systematization to saloon coaches’ design,provides a certain theoretical and technical basis for cars’ design in high-speed train.
