A Study On The Vocabulary Of Bamboo Slips Of The Qin Dynasty

In 221 BC Qin Shi Huang established China's first unified system of centralized state to end battle royal of the princes since the Warring States with afar-reaching impact.In the hundred years before and after reunification,it was not only the period of social,political,economic and cultural great fission and great integration,but also the period from which the language was changed from pluralism to unity,from ancient Chinese to Qin and Han dynasties.Beginning with Shang and Zhou Dynasties and ending with Han and Wei,which had continued to today."Qin" is a very important stage in the history of the Chinese language,which is the key to link the Chinese of pre Qin and Western Han and Eastern Han Dynasties,but the left linguistic data belonging to the Qin is not too much,mainly including "Book of Songs","Shang Shu Qin Oath","Lu Shi Chun Qiu","Jian Zhu ke Book" etc.However,Qin bamboo slips can compensate for the absence of this history,let us have more data for more in-depth research.In this paper,starting from the lexicology,in addition to the static description,dynamic analysis will be paid more attention,combined with auxiliary materials,precious literature "Lu Shi Chun Qiu","Shuowen Jiezi",which focused on the dynamic changes in meaning,combined with writing style,And the vocabulary of the Qin bamboo slips was collated and analyzed in order to show the vocabulary feature of the Qin language(including that of Qin at the late period of Warring States and Qin Dynasty after reunification),which can be regarded as dating studies for the vocabulary of this period,but also can be seen as the regional study from the Qin culture and Qin dialect.This paper is divided into two parts: the Research A and Corpus B,and the Research A is divided into eight parts.Corpus B is the Summary Table for the Meaning of Qin Bamboo Slips.Research Ais divided into eight parts.The first part is the introduction.This paper introduces the unearthed and recorded situation of the Qin bamboo slips,and reviews the present situation of the research on Qin bamboo slips to show the meaning and research methods of the topic.The second part is the vocabulary formation of Qin bamboo slips.Starting from the perspective of the number of syllables,it is divided into single words and compound words,using semantic standards,grammatical category standard,voicestandard,font standard to determine the monosyllabic words,and using the meaning standard,structurestandard,frequency standard to determine polysyllabic words.On this basis,the Summary Table for the Meaning of Qin Bamboo Slips is formed under the Corpus B.The third part is the research on word meaning of Qin bamboo and "Shuowen Jiezi".The first step is to review the word meaning of Qin bamboo slips and "Shuowen" firstly,and then from alliterative two-syllable terms,reduplicated words,vocabulary meaning,word meaning of Qin bamboo and "Shuowen Jiezi" are researched.The fourth part is the study on the change of vocabulary from the unity of the Qin Dynasty.From the perspective of taboo,dialect,political history,before and after the unity,the situation of the vocabulary change was researched.The fifth part is a study on the relationship between the characters of the Qin bamboo slips,mainly from the perspective of a word and a phrase,a word and many phrases,a phrase and many words,we studied the relationship between the Qin word to reveal the actual use of Qin language;A study on the change of the word relation before and after the unity of Qin Dynasty.With the development of society,the word meaning is getting rich,font style is getting differentiated,which is the useneeds of language,but also the internal law of the development of words.The sixth part is the supplement of the Chinese Dictionary from the Qin bamboo slips.The contents of the "Chinese Dictionary" are enriched and perfected from four aspects:the entry revise,separation of meanings revise,the example ahead,and the example revise.The seventh part isconclusion.The research results of the paper are summed up to clear the direction of future efforts.During the Warring States to Qin Dynasties,due to the constraints of the military and political situation,the Qin culture and the Qin language had an important influence on the culture and language of the rising Han Dynasty.Through our research,we hope that,for the period we can give a contribution to the development of Chinese and related cultural phenomena.
