A Study On Classification Protection Of Gansu Ethnic Minority Intangible Cultural Heritage

Ethnic minority intangible cultural heritage is a concentrated expression of ethnic minority cultural diversity.The protection of the intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities is conducive to enhancing the cultural identity of ethnic minorities and the cohesion of the Chinese nation,which is of great significance to the maintenance of cultural diversity.In the process of modernization,cultural change can not be stopped,the traditional cultural transformation is also inevitable.Thus,ethnic minorities face major problems of conflicting and adapting between traditional culture and modernization.In the "transition" tide,ethnic minorities intangible cultural heritage is facing a crisis.Taking effective measures to maximize the protection of ethnic minorities,is our mission in this period.Gansu has been a multi-ethnic province since ancient times,whose resident population including 55 ethnic minorities,between which the Dongxiang,Yugur and Baoan are unique ethnic minorities in Gansu Province.The ethnic minorities have created diverse intangible cultural heritage in the long history.The protection of the intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities in Gansu Province is an important mission for the development of Gansu,and plays an important role in the development of ethnic areas and the comprehensive modernization of Gansu.As the intangible cultural heritage covers a wide range of content,which requires us to have a holistic and systematic vision in the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.However,we can not ignore the different characteristics of the various types of intangible cultural heritage.We should analyze according to different characteristics of the specific types.The classification of the intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities in Gansu is to grasp the nature of each kind of intangible cultural heritage and to protect it better.There is no uniform pattern for the inheritance and protection of so many intangible cultural heritage created by the ethnic minorities in Gansu.Because the types of intangible cultural heritage are so different,the inheritance and protection of them should not always be same.In Gansu,the protection of the intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities is basically an overall protection program,that is,treating varieties of intangible cultural heritage as a whole,to develop a series of overall protection measures for systematization,protection and research by establishment of specialized agencies.Because this overall protection model ignores the diversification and characteristic of the intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities,it is contrary to the principle of the protection of intangible cultural heritage,which is ineffective and even causes " protective damage to intangible cultural heritage".This dissertation intends to classify the intangible cultural heritage of Gansu ethnic minorities,which includes the world-class,national-class and provincial-class,into four categories on which the field works are based.According to the characteristics of each category which is based on field work,it is possible to provide feasible strategy for inheritance and protection of all kinds of intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities.This perhaps is the inevitable and more efficient way for the protection of intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities in Gansu Province.This dissertation includes introduction,thesis text and conclusion.The introduction includes the origin of the research,the purpose and significance of the research,the current situation of domestic and overseas research,research ideas and methods,research content.The thesis text includes seven chapters,divided into four parts:The first part is also the first chapter.It introduces the general situation of intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities,which consists of the definition of the intangible cultural,the meaning of intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities and the characters of the intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities.The second part,which is the second chapter,sorts out the national and provincial intangible cultural heritage of Gansu province,divides them into four categories,and discusses the meaning of protection by classification.The third part includes the third,fourth,fifth and the sixth chapter.Each chapter involves the empirical protection research of one type of intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities and chose a typical example to discuss.Basing on this,to analyze the current situation,characteristics,problems and protection strategies of ethnic minorities intangible cultural heritage.The fourth part includes the seventh chapter only.By classified research,it can be found that these four kinds of intangible cultural heritage have common characteristics.This chapter will discuss protection strategies,such as laws,policies and productive protection,from the perspective of the common characteristics of these four types of ethnic minorities intangible cultural heritage,with the expectation to strengthen the holistic protection basing on the classified protection.Conclusion on the thesis summarized.
