Under the centuries-long feudal China. It formed traditional Chinese political culture on the basis of "Agriculture-patriarchal" society. Its main characteristics are autocratic, closed, rejection, stiff that based on the consanguinity ties, autocratic monarchy as the foundation and the core of the Confucian culture. The characteristics of Chinese political culture has not weakened but gradually increased after several years of changes. Especially after the establishment of the autocratic feudal imperial power, the autocratic political culture is more obvious.Under the autocratic monarchy rule, any possible damage to the construction of social order and stability in a dynastic crisis source of trouble will be cleared, especially the clique. Therefore, "the gentleman can not clique" has become a kind of political culture since ancient times. It is rooted in the society and the human mind like the nightmare. In modern society, authoritarian political culture's influence is still significant although by the western democratic political culture shock. However, as a new thing, the western democratic political culture show a strong vitality in Chinese. So it is against this backdrop of the foreign military invasion and internal oppressed rise up, Chinese traditional social structure has a certain degree of fission, and Chinese traditional political culture is also slowly deconstruction. It became the main theme of China modern political culture that the struggle against foreign aggression and oppression, to strive for the national independence, against tyranny, fight for the people of freedom. During this period, although the Qing government force no clique, but as a product of modern western political civilization, "party" gradually into the Chinese perspective with the entrance of the western culture. Political culture of the party began difficult growth in China. The party politics have appeared at the beginning of the Republic of China. At this time, the party was based in China and as a normal phenomenon in the political field.Xin Hai revolution founded the Republic of China. It is indisputable that it is again surging for thousands of years of traditional political culture. But the Republic of China is a newborn. "New" and "old" coexisting inevitable, so the main feature of the early years of the Republic of political culture is that democratic just started and authoritarian not dead. Therefore, the feudal stage came back when people talk about the party and hope that through the party to realize their own political ambitions under the new democratic political system. The party politics in early years of Republican period was short-lived, it only is a short experiment in Chinese political history. In general, the Chinese modern society (1840—1949) is the period of transition Chinese political culture from dictatorship to democracy, or more accurately, this is the conversion period. In this period, the leading modern Chinese political life is mainly feudal traditional political culture, capitalist democratic political culture and political culture of New Democracy, but the general trend of political and cultural change is the transition from dictatorship to democracy. In Chinese Kuomintang administration, Chinese political and party system are not single autocratic or not single democratic. This is consistent with the complexity of the political culture in modern China.Unlike in the west, their properties are different widely among the more active parties in China, and they represent different political culture. Chinese Kuomintang is representative of the big landlords and big bourgeoisie that involves dictatorship and democracy. The China Communist Party represents the interests of the broad masses of the people. It is the representative of democratic political culture under the guidance of Marx theory. Other democratic parties represent Chinese national bourgeoisie. Their political appeal is the pursuit of capitalist democracy and practice democratic politics. The different party nature decides the political cooperation is not easy. The ruling Kuomintang cooperated with Chinese other parties two times in history. The first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, the goal is against the Northern Warlords despotism. The second is the Kuomintang and Chinese almost all parties, the goal is against Japanese imperialism. It is an inevitable trend of democracy both times, but they all over because of cooperation established objectives are achieved. In this complex process of change of political culture, as well as the complex political struggle, the nature of the political party system in contemporary China is one party leadership due to the influence of traditional political culture. At the same time, Chinese political system with the multi-party cooperation properties because the influence of political culture of modern democracy.
