The Research On The Development The Cultivation Of National Defense Students In Chinese Universities Under The New Situation

Only when there is strong and rich storage of talent can the army force be thriving and advanced. Achieving the CPC's goal of strengthening the army under the new situation will be an empty talk without a large number of high-quality backbone talents to build and manage the army. Nowadays, raising the integration of civilians and military as a national strategy is a major achievement of our long-term exploration of the rule of the coordinated development of economic development and national defense construction. It is a major decision which is based on the overall situation of national security and the development strategy, and it is necessary for the implementation of "four overalls" strategic layout. This has also brought about opportunities and challenges to the nurturing of new military talents based on the national education. It undoubtedly helps build a strategic platform for the cooperation between universities and army force, which can help cultivate military talents through the program of national defense students.The cultivation of national defense students has traversed over ten years of exploration and practice, but many problems are still in need of improvement. This paper will focus on these problems. Through the elaboration of the fact that the national defense students education is the inevitable historical choice of our military personnel training and its theoretical basis, this paper will review the historic development of China's national defense education and its achievements and experience, explain the current education system of our national defense education in universities and its realization path, and analyze the existing problems and the reasons thoroughly, through which it puts forward the suggestions for the improvement of Chinese national defense education under the new situation.This paper consists of six parts:The Introduction part presents the origin and value of the research and the current situation of the relevant study at home and abroad, summarizes the research at home and abroad, explains the basic framework and research methods, and references of this paper.Chapter One elaborates the historical development of national defense students education in Chinese universities, reveals the formulation and implementation of China's national defense education policy and management of national defense students and the initial exploration of the teaching mode, and deeply describes the development situation and adjustment measures of our national defense education.Chapter Two, based on the achievements and experience of China's national defense college education, summarizes the basic laws of national defense education in China. It reviews the historic exploration of the education of Chinese national defense students, the basic establishment of the principles and the target of the education of national defense students, and the gradual improvement of the education system. It also analyzes the achievements and experience, problems existing in national defense student education and their causes, and puts forward the overall thought and the implementation strategy in building national defense students education and management with the China characteristics. The author in this thesis also puts forward his own thinking and opinion about the rules of team building of education and management of national defense students education, and the establishment and improvement of the evaluation system of the overall quality of national defense students.Chapter Three discusses the main achievements obtained in the education of national defense students from the following five aspects:providing a strong talent support for achieving the goal of strengthening the military, the optimization and upgrading of the knowledge structure of our army cadres, improving the information literacy education of army, a new national defense personnel training method with the integration of the military and civilian, the improvement of the overall quality and efficiency of military personnel training. Secondly, summing up the experience and enlightenment of education of national defense students, it demonstrates the experience in four aspects:the national defense students become the best body in realizing the dream of a strong army and a strong country, the improvement of the knowledge structure of our army cadre, the promotion of the quality and efficiency of the cultivation of military talents, and the leading role in the national defense education.Chapter Four illustrates the current opportunities and adjustments that Chinese university national defense education faces, the existing prominent problems in current national defense education and the main reasons that restrict the development of national defense students education, so as to reveal the problems existing in colleges and universities of Chinese national defense students education and the reasons of these problems. Based on the above analysis and combining the basic condition and target of the national defense education,Chapter Five puts forward the suggestions to improve the education of national defense students in China. Specifically speaking, it includes the following aspects: learning the beneficial experience of foreign military talents training, exploring the management mode with Chinese characteristics in national defense students, the perfection of the evaluation system, and paying attention to management team building in the education of national defense students.
