The Problem And Countermeasures Of National Defense Education In Colleges And Universities

Under current international changeable situations, the new military revolution has made war enter into the information age. All high-tech weapons are widely used in military filed. In order to achieve the initiative in the future military struggle, not only should our army have advanced weapons and establish perfect system, but also we should discover and create a large number of military personnel who have high-tech new knowledge and are military-political excellent. .Since the local recruitment of national defense students in 1998, the national defense group shares a distinguished feature of having a solid knowledge of science and culture. However, because the national defense students training system is not established for a very long time, there exist some problems in the current training model. Aimed at the education of national defense students in high school, this paper proposes some strategies to promote the national defense students'education in high school.To begin with, this paper discusses the research background, theoretical and practical significance and the research content of this paper and lists the current situation of studying national defense students at home and broad. Then, take the national defense students in Tianjin University as an example, we surveyed them from freshman to senior by questionnaire. After political, psychological, legal and military analysis of those students, we come up with the present problems in national defense students'education model. The present model faces many problems in various aspects: the selection management process, training standard, the teachers'quality, the supplementary training system and evaluation system. In the end, we propose two main points to improve the national defense students'education: first is to enhance their ability and the second is to promote the training system. The result of the paper makes both practical and theoretic sense in analyzing factors affecting the comprehensive abilities of national defense students, guiding the current education and management of national defense students and cultivating reserve army force for the military.
