Research On The Construction Of Ideal Role Of College Students

Maxvan Manen said that "Education is the knowledge of the growth of others"."Growth" means the development of personality and socialization,which is the process of obtaining social roles and developing personality.Thinking of social theory,University socialization is predominated to "anticipatory socialization",and the "anticipatory socialization" is for individual learning to play the role in the future,rather than playing the role during the learning period.This study believes that the premise of the socialization of college students is the students' "Role socialization",which means college students should firstly study well and play the role as "college student" basically and try to make themselves more as the role as "good student" or"excellent college student",according to the social expectations.Then they can better achieve the socialization of individual and be the "social man" who can adapt to the social development and even lead to promote it."Good students" or "excellent students" is the ideal state of students' role,is an ideal role in the return of higher education in the context of role orientation,the role of university students should return to the standard is the ideal role of college students "".It has been studied that traits make up a "good undergraduate" is followed by Friendly and helpful,Conscientious,Optimism and Be enterprising Honest and trustworthy,Moral and values,Responsibility,Independent and Autonomy,Self abnegation,Patriotic and law-abiding,Target management,Innovation and creation and so on according to the degree of importance.After further study on the result mentioned above by using social role theory and personality theory,we find that the ideal undergraduate's personality for people who are investigated is Modern personality with the core of citizen personality,Moral personality at the core of altruism and Positive personality as the core of healthy personality.The self ideal roles that undergraduates approve are Citizen role,good Learner role,Adult role and Good person.Through the analysis of the level of importance,the most important role is to learn the role of scholars.In the analysis of the obstacle factors and the causes of role deviation of undergraduates' ideal self practice.This research develops the core category named'self-dealing with freedom and incompetenc',and further analyzes the'confuse','self-confidence','introversion' and other localized concepts.The study interprets obstacles and difficulties of the growth of students' roles.The research also presents the four types of 'outstanding college students',including Growth based on advantage,Discontinuous growth,Self creative growth Balanced development growth as well as Social interest growth.These four types of role play are not based on the same criteria,on the contrary,they interweave and support each other and it is a progressive spiral structure exists in ' outstanding collage students' criteria.Based on this,our research developed the core categories of role play of 'outstanding college students',i.e."Beyond rational and self determined growth".This investigation indicates that the ideal value of the ideal role of college students is positive.The expectations of their own role image are in line with the individual core values of socialism,and are also in coincident with the Marxist People's free and comprehensive development of the purpose of education,which are characterizes with traditional and modern.Compared with the social factors such as family,school,social culture and so on,the role of "ego" in the process of personality development and socialization has not been paid enough attention.lt is positive and correct that the ego consciousness,ego orientation and the values reflected by the former factors in the college students,however,in the process of realizing the ideal role,the shortage of self-regulating power,the lack of strategy and other reasons makes the college students self-growth blocked,role anomie,role shift obstacles and so on.This study makes some suggestions from two aspects:School and Student.School should grasp the society "stage" characteristics of college students'role-playing,guided by the humanistic education idea of "student centered",make the external role shaping become the inner role of creating demand.To integrated mental health education,career planning education,social practice education and other educational activities in the role of college students,to strength the role of college students awareness from all aspects,and establish a mechanism for the construction of college student role,It should be strengthened to independent personality training as the core of civic education in the education content,to carry out the role counseling education actively,Shaping the contemporary college students' role of tradition and modern fusion.In the aspect of Student,the ideal role should be achieved through self education.
