Research On The Construction Of University-oriented Entrepreneurship Education Ecosystem

In Chinese context of innovation-driven development strategy,a large number of innovative and entrepreneurial talents are needed,and higher education is the main front for cultivating such high-level elites.What is more,to develop such talents requiresan open entrepreneurshipeducation ecosystem,which includes interrelated,interacting and mutual supportive subsystems such as universities,government,enterprises,families,students and so on,thus forming a complete innovative entrepreneurship education system.In that,colleges and universities,with its unique advantage forcultivating knowledge-intensive talents,occupy the main niche.Therefore,the dominance of colleges and universities in the entrepreneurial education ecosystem should be highlighted while a university-oriented entrepreneurial education ecosystem should be established for the sustainable development of China's entrepreneurship education.This paper,based on the theory of ecosystem,triple helix theoryand so on,analyzes the constituentsand their mutual relationship of the university-led entrepreneurial education ecosystem from the microscopic,meso and macroscopic dimensions,and constructs an ideal model of the “Internal Integration and External Union”entrepreneurial education ecosystem in colleges and universities,with a view to providing reference for the education of entrepreneurship education in Chinese universities.The whole essay can be divided into seven sections,in which the first part is an introduction,expounding the study's backgroud,research questions,major methodology as well as research findings and implications.Then the second partoffers conceptual definition and theoretical basis,in which basic concepts of entrepreneurial education,entrepreneurial ecosystem and university-oriented entrepreneurial education ecosystem are clarified,and the theory of ecosystem,triple helix theory and entrepreneurial box theory are explained,laying the theoretical foundation for the further study of the thesis.The third part is the current situation research.This paper first sorts out the status quo of entrepreneurship education in China through the literature research,field interviews and other ways,and thencarefully chooses and systematically analyzes the four colleges and universities: Tsinghua University,Shanghai Jiaotong University,Heilongjiang University and Wenzhou University as typical cases,which provides a realistic basis for constructing the ideal model of university-oriented entrepreneurial education ecosystem.The fourth part provides the international experience and enlightenment of the university-oriented entrepreneurial education ecosystem.The author,based on comparative analysis,discusses the development course and methods of the pioneering entrepreneurial education ecosystem of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology,Stanford University and the University of Singapore.Hence it provides an empirical reference for the construction of the ideal model of the university-oriented entrepreneurial education ecosystem.The fifth part introduces the constituents of the university-oriented entrepreneurial education ecosystem and their mutual relations.This part,based on the theory of ecosystem,further analyzes each component from the functional perspective,and explains the internal relations between the elements,such as synergetic relationship,chain relationship,fusion relationship,cooperative relationship and so on.Besides,the time and mode,as well as scope and influence of their mutual interaction are also explored,in order to form a rather complete,accurate and scientific understanding for university-oriented entrepreneurial education ecosystem.The sixth sectionconsiders the construction and operation of the ideal model of university-oriented entrepreneurial education ecosystem.This part analyzes the present situation and trend of the development of entrepreneurship education in our country from the perspectives of “fit” and “outreach”,and thendiscusses the construction process of “internal integration” and “external alliance”,thus completing the construction and operation of the ideal model of the university-oriented entrepreneurial education ecosystem,namely the “united and allied” model.The seventh,as well as the lastsection is the conclusing part,summarizing the research and forecasting future researches.The paper focuses on highlighting the leading position of universities in the entrepreneurial education ecosystem,and the theoretical model of the “united and allied” entrepreneurial education ecosystem needs to be tested,optimized and perfected in future practice.Withits practical application one day,it will effectively promote the construction and development of China's entrepreneurship education ecosystem,enhance and expand the level as well as scale of entrepreneurship education.
