Supply And Demand Analysis Of Nursing Labor Market In Japan

Population aging originated in the West.France,Sweden,Britain,Germany are the first to enter the aging society in the world.Japan,Italy,Greece and Germany are the most serious aging countries.And they have entered the super-aging countries(aging rate of more than 21%)in the recent decade until the year of 2015.China has entered the aging society(aging rate of more than 7%)in 2000.Although the situation is not serious,the aging population is the largest in the world due to the Chinese population base.It is not only the developed countries' problem to meet the aged care service demand but also ours.The paper takes the labor market in Japanese nursing industry as the final research object.Because first Japan's nursing care insurance system modeled after Germany;second Japan Geographically belongs to Asia;third Japan is deeply influenced by Chinese culture;last Japan's care service system is template of South Korea and Taiwan.The paper concludes the following seven chapters.The first chapter talks about the research question and research content based on the Chinese reality:the further developing aging progress,the demand of the aging care service.The second chapter the theoretical basis of the paper.It includes theoretical basis,literature review,and classification of definition.First from the policy and welfare(welfare state theory,the theory of government functions,welfare pluralism theory,public goods theory),personal selection(selection behavior theory,life cycle theory)and labor demand and supply(the theory of labor demand,labor supply theory,human capital theory)three aspects to sort out the existing theory.Second,review the literatures about the protection industry,labor supply and demand and forecast from foreign and domestic aspects.Finally,on the basis of theory and literature,we sort out the related concepts and the definition of proper nouns.In the third chapter,it talks about Japan's aging population and support system development.Firstly,the paper introduces Japan's aging population and rapid growth trend,and the changes in the age structure,the change of population structure,cause of ageing,the influence it brings.Then in the development process the Japanese support system is divided into three different time periods,hence in the 1960s and 1970s from social welfare to the elderly free medical care,from the 1980s to the 1990s,from elderly health care to the referral care insurance,finally from the 21st century has dielectric support implementation and revision of the insurance.And to introduce the Japanese support system from the social welfare,elderly welfare formulation of beginning,to create the elderly care institutions in the implementation of golden plan,and finally to create referral care insurance system and revision system were summarized in this paper.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the current situation of the labor market in Japan.First of all,the current situation of the development of the protection of the labor force from two aspects of the training process and the market structure are described.Training aspect mainly analyzes the amount of special schools,personnel training quantity and country relevant qualifications;market structure mainly analyzes the home,daycare,institutions,community organizations practitioners' distribution.Followed by training,market situation analysis,the labor market characteristics are summarized as follows:effective requirement rate of the overall increase,turnover rate and employment rate are higher than the industry average,non-formal employment accounted for relatively large.Finally introduce the Japanese use Mincer wage formulation to added factors to analysis.The fifth chapter is the analysis of the labor market demand in Japan.Firstly,the paper use the utility function to derive the service needs model of the family to the society.And the base are respectively from home,day care,long-term care insurance designated agencies,community attendance service types distinguish overall,average,need mediated protection levels three aspects of social support demand situation of statistical description.Next the author has carried on the analysis to the influence of social care services economy,society,individual and other factors.Finally,after making clear that the traditional industry labor market demand prediction of Cobb Douglas does not apply,the paper theoretically predict the demand of nursing labor.The sixth chapter,the analysis of the labor market supply in Japan,firstly discusses the factors that affect the labor supply,and thinks that the wage and the policy can influence the labor supply.Secondly,the empirical research on the influence factors of the labor market by using the labor time wage efficiency model based on the data of the labor force in the labor market.Finally,based on the gray model to predict the labor force supply.Chapter seven introduces the enlightenment of Japanese nursing labor market to China.Based on summarizing the characteristics of aging population problems in China,which includes the elderly employment rate low,economy than a single source,nest-empty elders and lost only old man appeared,loss of semi disabled,the paper sorts the pension mode in China(the traditional model of family pension,pension agency mode,community support,medical support binding mode).Then summarizes the existing problems of China's old-age care service industry.Finally,based on the existing problems,combined with the experience of Japan's industrial labor market,the recommendations are put forward for the development of China nursing services.Combined with qualitative and quantitative research.The paper draws the following conclusions:first,the service is experiencing from the family to the changing needs of the society;third,economic,social and individual factors will influence the dielectric support labor force demand;fourth,wages,social security payment and other factors influence the dielectric support labor supply;fifth,there is a gap between mediated protection of labor supply and demand;sixth,there is rising space for China pension demand for nursing services.
