| Manufacturing industry is the foundation and pillar of China's national economy.Moreover,manufacturing industry is the leading force of China's economic modernization.China's manufacturing industry has made great achievements since the reform and opening up,the total industrial output has exceeded the United States in 2010 and become the largest manufacturing country of the world.But China's manufacturing industry is not strong,which is far less strong than developed countries.This is mainly reflected in international competition in manufacturing products and international specialization based on global value chain.China's manufacturing industry has a mismatch in scale and profitability.The reason can be attributed to lacking soft production factors such as service,information,technology and management.What's worse,the gradual disappearance of demographic dividend weaken the cost advantage of China's manufacturing industry to some extent.Insufficient input of soft production factors and the gradual disappearance of demographic dividend have seriously hindered the international competitiveness and restrict the survival and development space of China's manufacturing industry.Therefore,it is urgent to improve the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry.From the perspective of structure softening,this paper analyzes productive service and improvement of China's manufacturing industry.This paper analyzes current situation of the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry,then put forward that static comparative advantage theory is contrary to the objective requirement of improving the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry.On this basis,this paper puts forward dynamic comparative advantage theory based on structure softening.As a big developing country,China's development strategy of manufacturing industry should transform from comparative advantage to competitive advantage.Gaining dynamic comparative advantage based on structure softening is the key to improve the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry.This paper applies dynamic comparative advantage theory based on structure softening to analyze the mechanism of productive service to improve the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry under the perspective of structure softening.After that,the paper analyzes the role of soft production factors to improve the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry concretely.This paper puts forward the basic characteristic of structure softening of China's manufacturing industry should have based on the development trend and influencing factors of structure softening of manufacturing industry.Then,the paper constructs the index system of structure softening of manufacturing industry after taken the basic characteristic of structure softening of manufacturing industry into consideration.After that,this paper analyzes the value of the index system in industry and regional analysis.Considering China is a huge country,there are many differences between different industries and regions,this paper analyzes the' industrial and regional difference of the productive service and structure softening improving international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry.In the analysis of industrial difference,the paper has a comparative analysis about differences in demand for productive service in different manufacturing industries under the perspective of different type,growth stage and structure type of manufacturing industry.In the analysis of regional difference,this paper analyzes the mode difference of productive service and structure softening improving international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry in northeast region of China,Yangtze River Delta region and Pearl River Delta region.The paper puts forward the policy design of productive service and structure softening improving international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry based on theoretical and empirical analysis,including general strategy,industrial strategy and regional strategy,so as to provide policy support for using productive service to improve the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry.The specific research contents are as follows:Firstly,putting forward the theory of dynamic comparative advantage based on structure softening.This paper analyzes current situation and the reason of the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry.China's manufacturing industry is not strong,the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry is relatively low at the present stage.This is mainly reflected in international competition in manufacturing products and international specialization based on global value chain.This paper puts forward that static comparative advantage theory is contrary to the objective requirement of improving the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry,then bring forward dynamic comparative advantage theory based on structure softening.According to the relative cost of different products,China's manufacturing industry has relative advantage in labor-intensive products while developed countries have relative advantage in capital-intensive and technology-intensive products.China's manufacturing industry will be in a disadvantageous position in international trade and specialization if we contuine to depend on static comparative advantage theory.This paper points out that:as a big developing country,China's development strategy of manufacturing industry should transform from comparative advantage to competitive advantage.Gaining dynamic comparative advantage theory based on structure softening is the key to improve the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry.This advantage is produced by increasing the intermediate input of productive service.The paper applies dynamic comparative advantage theory based on structure softening to analyze the mechanism of productive service to improve the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry under the perspective of structure softening.This paper also makes a concrete analyzes about the role of some soft production factors to improve the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry,including the role of technological innovation and management innovation.Secondly,this paper constructs the index system of structure softening of manufacturing industry.The paper puts forward the basic characteristic of structure softening of China's manufacturing industry should have based on the development trend and influencing factors of structure softening of manufacturing industry.Then this paper constructs the index system of structure softening of manufacturing industry after taken the basic characteristic of structure softening of manufacturing industry into consideration.This index system contains four primary indicators and seventeen secondary indicators.The index system has scientific theoretical basis,which can reasonably reflect the situation of structure softening of manufacturing industry of different industries and regions.Each index of the index system has strong operability,which is easy to be calculated and can quantify the structure softening degree of different manufacturing industries.So it is helpful to reflect the situation of structure softening of manufacturing industry of different industries objectively.It is also useful to have a horizontal and vertical or a static and dynamic evaluation to the structure softening degree of different manufacturing industries.What's more,this index system is benefical to predict the development trend of different manufacturing industry and make policy which is helpful to improve the structure softening degree of different manufacturing industries.A reasonable index system is useful to predict the development trend of manufacturing industry of different regions by using different data speculate methods,so as to grasp the direction of structure softening of manufacturing industry of different regions to some extent.And it is benefical to make policy which is helpful to improve the structure softening degree of manufacturing industry in different regions.Better yet,this index can stimulate different regions to strengthen its weak links continuely,so as to improve structure softening degree.Thirdly,this paper carries out the industry dfference analysis.According to industrial type difference,the paper analyzes labor-intensive industry,capital-intensive industry and technology-intensive industry.According to industrial growth stage difference,the paper analyzes growing industry and mature industry.According to industrial structure type difference,the paper analyzes monopoly industry and competitive industry.Then we analyze the differences in demand for productive service in different manufacturing industries on this basis,so that we can reveal the industrial path difference of structure softening of manufacturing industry.This paper puts forward corresponding research hypothesis based on theoretical analysis of various differences.The empirical analysis of this chapter contains econometric model building,econometric model testing,and empirical result analysis.Fourthly,the paper carries out the regional dfference analysis.This paper analyzes three representative ecomomic area including northeast region of China,Yangtze River Delta region and Pearl River Delta region.On the one hand,the paper analyzes the differences in the development level of producer services in different regions through support degree for producer services by government,interactivity between manufacturing industry and producer services,industrial agglomeration degree of producer services,talent support degree,marketization degree,opening degree in different regions.On the other hand,this paper analyzes the differences in competitive manufacturing industries,inferior manufacturing industries and the key manufacturing industries which to be improved in different regions based on the differences in export structure and international competitiveness of manufacturing industry,so that we can reveal the regional pattern difference of structure softening of manufacturing industry.The empirical analysis of this chapter contains econometric model building,econometric model testing,and empirical result and analysis of the pattern in different regions.Fifthly,this paper puts forward the policy design including general strategy,industrial strategy and regional strategy,so as to provide policy support for using productive service to improve the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry. |
