China-EU Container Transportation System Optimation Under "The Silk Road Economic Belt"

The "Silk Road Economics Belt" is an international cooperation initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the speech in Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan.The "Silk Road Economic Belt" connects the active East Asian economic circle and the developed European economic circle.At the same time,it covers the largely developmental potential Central Asia and West Asia regions.Container transportation is the main transportation mode between China and the Europe.Especially,after the "Silk Road Economics Belt" proposed,there are rapid developments to China-EU container transportation,but there are also some problems to solve.In the perspective of the“Silk Road Economics Belt" Initiative,firstly,this paper defined the China-EU container transportation system from three aspects,which are components,infrastructure subsystem,and organization subsystem.Secondly,this paper analyzed three problems that the container transportation system faced to solve,which are low organization efficiency,chaos subsidies,and not high container yards'utilization ratio.Finally,this paper proposed container transportation organization optimization,subsidies optimization,and yard optimization,respectively.Research contents,methods,and results in this paper are as follows.(1)China-EU container organization optimization under the "Silk Road Economics Road".At first,this section explained the contents and modes of the transportation system,and analyzed the features of China-EU container transportation by railway and the main factors of transportation system organization.Secondly,considering time-efficient hub-and-spoke network,this section optimized the transportation organization from the collective network perspective,and conducted the empirical analysis.Finally,this section discussed the strategy for strengthen railway container cargo organization.(2)China-EU container transportation subsidies optimization under the "Silk Road Economics Road".Firstly,this section promoted the game mechanism of the container transportation from the game components and relationships perspectives.Then,aiming to maximum the governments social benefits,this section formulated incomplete information dynamics game theory models and discussed the better subsidy amount to China Railway Express enterprises from local governments.Furthermore,this section conducted empirical analysis based on the data of"Chongqing-Alataw-Duisburg" railway express.Finally,this section proposed some political suggestions to determine reasonable subsidies for government.(3)China-EU container yards' optimization under the "Silk Road Economics Belt".Based on container yard operational process,this section formulated a continuous time batch service queuing model considering finite capacity,adding(a,b)service strategy to the classic model.This section put forward a methodology to container yard layout optimization,especially in making decisions on yard scale and railway running frequency.
