Human is facing environmental deterioration that climate is becoming warmer and warmer.Building is the main source of Greenhouse gases such as CO2,so it is urgent to reduce the carbon emission during one building's lifecycle.Thus how to pursue the optimum design for one low carbon building is becoming the primary aim of many architects and engineers.With concern for that,the dissertation intensively explores the typical buildings' carbon emission routine at various stages in their life cycle from birth to death.On the basis of comprehensive statistics analysis with data mining from vast amounts of related information,a quantitative carbon emission evaluation system and corresponding index optimizations scheme for low carbon buildings' design is then proposed and verified.The main research of this paper is as follows.(1)As the preface of the paper,chapter 1 is concerning on the literature review of fundamental research about energy conservation buildings,ecological buildings,green buildings and low-carbon buildings.Through summarizing the available research works,the dissertation proposes one new exploration method for buildings' carbon emissions evaluation with innovative technical implementation routine.(2)Chapter 2 analyzes the characteristics in each stage of the life stage and discusses the corresponding carbon emissions reduction mechanism from all the aspects of one building's life cycle such as goal expectation,design constraints,construction procedure,operation control and demolish removal while considering the influence of macro economy develop,building technology promotion and human behavior interference.The influence of economy and building technology are discussed too.(3)The paper evaluates the relation between macro economy's develop level and buildings'carbon emission level.While using the input/output evaluation index to compute the ratio of industrial carbon emissions to build floor areas,the standard for buildings' carbon dioxide emission is established aiming at the national economic development goals.(4)The dissertation studies the buildings' activities features in full life cycle using microscope analysis model,which the buildings' carbon emissions is varied by two parameter domains of generation stage and generation source.Then the carbon emissions coefficient method is adopted to calculate the target index value and one sample building project is employed to perform the model's evaluation work.(5)According to the analysis of contents of building design,chapter 5 studies Building information modeling(BIM)system and set up the building carbon emissions budget platforn which is based on SQL Server Microsoft 2005 database.By this platform the carbon emission of the project which studied in chapter four is calculated too.(6)Combined the macro study of low carbon economic requirement with the micro study of green building's design regulation restraint,the dissertation develops one carbon evaluation system which sets the carbon emissions intensity(emissions amount per unit of built floor area in a year)as the low carbon buildings' design limit and verifies the evaluation model's effectiveness with practical building projects.(7)On the basis of the classification of carbon emission calculation results and the evaluation results,the application of low carbon building technology is studied.The key factors and optimization methods are found out for designing low carbon building.Optimization for Huaian Chengkai garden project is studied and influence factor of design parameters are figured out.This paper analyses the activities in building life and the characteristics of carbon emissions,focuses on design stage which is critical to low carbon building,both evaluation and optimization about low carbon building design is valuable and urgent.In design stage the building life cycle carbon emissions are classified according to origin.Using BIM to calculate the life cycle carbon emission budget of buildings and provide suggestion for optimization to building design.The development of architecture involves many sectors of the national economy,so development of macro economy is relevant to micro construction.The benchmark of carbon emission intensity derives from the national GDP carbon intensity target.Apart from researches on macro economy,according to the Green building evaluation criteria,energy-saving building design regulations and so on,this paper determines the standard of life cycle carbon emission of building and optimization of building design.This paper has some innovations about low carbon building.First according to the national industrial development,targets of carbon emissions are proposed for China's construction industry and building.Secondly base on the controllable design research and carbon emissions classification,low carbon building design evaluation system and standard are set out,put forward the limit value of the whole life cycle carbon emission intensity,deepen and perfect green building index system.Using carbon emissions classification and evaluation results as a guide,low carbon optimizations are selected and determined for low carbon building design.Based on the research of life activity,architectural design theory and low-carbon economy,this paper constructs a low carbon design evaluation system and present optimization for building design.The research provides theoretical basis and practical guidance for the design and management of low carbon architecture.
