Urban agglomeration is the main form of the national new urbanization strategy.As a highly urbanized area with equal urban and rural development,Metropolitan area(MA)is an important carrier for urban agglomeration development.The evolution of spatial structure in MA is supported and guided by efficient passenger service system.Public transport facilities configuration of passenger corridor is particularly significant for the distribution of space,industry and land use in MA.Therefore,research on public transport facilities configuration of passenger corridor in MA has both theoretical and practical values for spatial structure optimization and the adaptation between public transport system and land use layout.Based on the relationship between the spatial structure of MA and transport system,the connotation of MA passenger corridor is analyzed.Travel characteristics,transport demand characteristics and transport supply characteristics in MA passenger corridor are summarized.With the spatial effect of passenger flow field,the turnpike theorem and self-organization theory,the formation mechanism of passenger corridor is put forward.Combined with the evolution process of different traffic modes in the typical MA abroad,the decisive factors of leading traffic mode are proposed.The interactive relationship between the evolution of MA passenger corridor and public transport facilities is analyzed.Based on time and space service target,service level of the rail transit services of passenger corridor is divided.Considering functional requirements,line space subordination and line level,functional level of the public transport is divided into three major and seven small classifications in MA passenger corridor.The goals and requirements of public transport service system are clearly defined.A framework of passenger flow demand analysis for public transport is established.Based on jobs-housing relationship of the town nodes along the corridor,passenger flow generation model is deducted.Utility function is represented by generalized cost consisting of travel cost and perceived travel time,and MNL model is used in the prediction of traffic mode split.Based on economic linkage membership grade of the town nodes along the corridor,passenger flow distribution model is built,and a calculation method is proposed for the one-way public traffic passenger flow in passenger corridor.A traffic assignment model is put forward based on the optimum stratagem selection method.According to the interests demand of public traffic participants,including government,enterprise and passenger,public interests is represented by social utility of public traffic.A two-phase decision-making model of public transport mode choice is established,which takes into account the composite demand of both supply-demand relationship and multi-party decision-making subject.It is a decision-making method suitable for public transport service system of passenger corridor in MA.In phase I,matching index of supply and demand is introduced to check the supply and demand of public transport.In phase II,by considering influence factors such as passenger surplus,corporate profits,energy consumption and environmental pollution a social utility maximization model of dominant public transport modes is established,which considers the strategic choice of dominant public transport mode and the design parameters of public passenger line operation.Connection demand of public transport passenger flow and transfer hub function of public transport are analyzed Public transport transfer hubs are classified based on the service range of transfer hub and the hierarchy of connection demand.A bi-level programming model for transfer hub location is established to meet the conjugate and transfer demands of centripetal commuting passenger flow in passenger corridor.On the basis of service range of the suburban-level public transport transfer hub,abscissa,ordinate,passenger flow transfer demand and average floor area ratio of the rail transit station are taken as the characteristic parameters.The fuzzy C-means clustering method is adopted for dividing service piece areas,in order to generate the candidate point set of suburban-level public transport transfer hub.This model considers hub accessibility,fixed costs of decision-making departments,travel costs of passenger and the and passenger flow,in which the upper layer planning aims at how to obtain more passenger flow with less fund input for decision-making department,meanwhile,the lower level planning aims at the minimizing the total cost of passenger.Moreover,the calculation steps of the model is also presented subsequently.Combined with origin-destination selection and control points searching,a route generation algorithm for urban railway is put forward.Considering the multimode rail transit connection,guidance value of suburban railway and passenger flow collection and distribution spots,it takes into account both passenger trips service and transit-oriented urban development,and makes scientific decision making for route layout under limited fund.Four connection modes between suburban and urban railway are proposed in MA passenger corridor,and the start point of suburban railway line is determined by the choice of connection point.Based on real options theory,the investment value evaluation model of suburban railway extension line is established,and the end point of suburban railway is determined by the choice of line construction time.Based on real options theory,the investment value evaluation model of dominant suburban railway line is established,and the end point of suburban railway is determined by enterprise project construction investment.Evaluation system of importance index on passenger distribution center is established,and importance of passenger distribution center is assessed by grey incidence analysis model.A generation method of initial suburban railway line is proposed,and the line adjustment and optimization strategies are given.
