With the development of digital architectural design,building performance simulation technology is widely used in the optimization and evaluation of building performance.However,the existing occupant behaviour program in the building performance simulation platform is too simplified to reflect the complexity of the real behaviour,which affects the accuracy of the simulation prediction.As a result,the architectural design is difficult to achieve the expected effect.Among them,the imperfection of the existing window-opening behaviour program leads to the difference between the predictive value and the actual value of building physical environment and energy consumption performance simulation.Due to the difficulty of investigation and measurement,the existing research on behaviour mechanism and predictive model only includes the research results of limited climate regions and building space types.The lack of integrated application of the predictive model results in its inability to link the building performance simulation platform for simulation prediction.The purpose of this study is to improve the theoretical research on the occupant window-opening behaviour of offices,the simulation accuracy and the performance quality of offices' environment,by studying the mechanism and predictive model of the occupant window-opening behaviour of offices in severe cold area.Based on the theory of psychology,this paper studied the regional characteristics of the occupant window-opening behaviour of offices in severe cold area.According to the characteristics of regionalization,this paper put forward the research framework of the occupant window-opening behaviour,formulated the data collection scheme,behaviour mechanism analysis scheme,and put forward the method of predictied model framework.According to the theoretical research framework and scheme,the paper carried out theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,and clarified the occupant window-opening behaviour mechanism of various types and scales offices in severe cold area.Finally,this paper constructed occupant window-opening behaviour predictive models with integrated application ability and verified the validity of the predictive models.Through theoretical analysis,it was concluded that under the influence of physical environment and office characteristics in sere cold area,occupants of offices are prone to produce psychological processes of internal needs,feelings and perceptual control processes,resulting in different window-opening behaviour patterns.This study further collected detailed data related to the occupants window-opening behaviour of offices,carried out empirical analysis,and analyzed the mechanism between the influencing factors and occupants window-opening behaviour,including architectural factors,physical environment factors,time factors,psychological and physiological factors of occupants.Compared with the existing studies,this study increased the analysis of the impact of users' subjective psychological factors on window opening behavior,including users' thermal comfort,acoustic comfort,and air quality evaluation.The results showed that there was a significant seasonal difference in the occupants' window-opening behaviour of offices.In a single season,under the influence of internal and external compound action mechanism,the occupants window-opening behaviour changes of offices could be classified into two types from top to bottom,namely,habit driven,habit and thermal comfort driven.The former mechanism formed habitual window-opening behaviour through the process of internal needs and sensory control process;the latter one formed habitual and adaptive window-opening behaviour through the process of internal needs,sensory control,and perceptual control.This study constructed occupant window-opening behaviour predictive models of offices in severe cold area from the time,space,and mechanism dimensions.Compared with the existing models,this predictive model expanded the dimensions of the model structure,and had the technical characteristics of regional pertinence,seasonal applicability,and integrated application.Through cluster analysis and association rule analysis,the sub predictive models were obtained,which had the characteristics of "non active" and "active" respectively.The sub predictive models could be widely used to predict the occupant window-opening behaviour of offices in various types and scales in severe cold area.In this study,we also developed behaviour predictive model configuration files and programs that could link the building performance simulation platforms.It was suitable for many types of offices in severe cold area.It had the characteristics of strong applicability and easy operation.It could significantly modify the indoor air temperature simulation results of offices.The correction ratio of the daily average air temperature simulation results could reach 16.32%.This paper enhances the regional pertinence of the study on occupant window-opening behaviour of offices,enriches the dimensions of the behaviour predictive models,improves the integrated application ability of the behaviour predictive models,and optimizes the existing window-opening behaviour program of the building performance simulation platform.The results of this paper also improve the auxiliary design ability of building simulation technology and can help architects better carry out digital architectural design to improve the indoor environment quality of offices.
