With the construction of a large number of energy-consuming buildings, the proportion of building energy consumption in total energy consumption has continued to rise, and passive buildings have gradually entered people's vision. In the technical measures of passive building energy saving, the thermal insulation performance of the envelope structure is the most important thing for the building to reach the passive building standard, and the external window of the building is the weak link for the heat transfer of the envelope structure. As China has many climatic zones, directly applying German passive building exterior window standards will cause certain errors in actual engineering. At present, there are few studies on the passive building exterior windows in China's severe cold area.In order to ensure that the building meets the requirements of passive buildings and has good thermal comfort performance,it is of great significance to study the application of passive building exterior windows in severe cold areas. This paper compares the differences between Chinese and German passive building exterior window standards, and obtains the thermal performance parameters of passive building exterior windows applicable to the severe cold regions of China. The WINDOW 7.7software is used to simulate different combinations of insulating glass.By changing the number of glass layers,Filling gas type, glass spacing, and other factors, comprehensive heat transfer coefficient and solar heat gain coefficient(SHGC)explore the number of insulating glass layers and coating methods suitable for passive building exterior windows in the cold regions of China.Using THERM 7 to simulate the calculation of 80mm-thick PVC plastic steel window frames and PBT co-extruded window frames without steel lining design.Through the simulation of isotherm maps, heat flux density maps, temperature cloud maps and measured point temperatures, the spacer material and filling insulation The effect of the material position on the heat transfer coefficient of the window frame, the glass center heat transfer coefficient, the glass edge heat transfer coefficient, the minimum temperature on the inner surface of the glass and the temperature inside the window frame at different locations. The whole window heat transfer coefficient and window frame heat transfer coefficient of 5common window types of passive building exterior windows were calculated, and the correlation between the heat transfer coefficient and the area ratio of each part of the glass was studied. Finally, taking Shenyang area as a representative, using PHPP to analyze the energy consumption of the simulation results, illustrates the performance of practical applications. The accuracy of the simulation results is verified by calculating the balance of gains and losses of the outer window.Studies have shown that three or more layers of insulating glass should be used for passive building exterior windows and filled with inert gas. From the simulation, the heat transfer coefficient is the smallest when the glass spacing is 16 mm when filled with air;the heat transfer coefficient is the smallest when the glass spacing is 14 mm when filled with argon;the heat transfer coefficient is smallest when the glass spacing is 9mm when filled with radon.Considering process issues The optimal glass distance for radon should be 10 mm.The best filling method for 6-cavity 80mm-thick PVC plastic steel window frame is filling insulation material on both sides, and the suitable filling method for PBT co-extruded window frame is middle filling insulation material or all filling insulation material. The combination of 4mm white glass + 10 mm Kr + 6mm Low-E + 10 mm Kr + 6mm Low-E insulating glass and80 mm thick PBT co-extruded three-seal window frames are filled with polyurethane, which can meet the standard requirements of passive buildings no matter what window type It provides a reference for the selection of passive building exterior windows in severe cold areas.
