Investigation And Control Strategies On Main Infectious Diseases Of Goat In Guizhou Province

Epidemic disease is an important factor leading to the loss of breeding industry,and the prevention and control of epidemic disease is one of the key measures to ensure the smooth implementation and sustainable development of the breeding industry.Therefore,farm animal epidemic prevention is an arduous task that needs long time and much efforts.In the study,serological and etiological investigation methods were used to investigate the hidden dangers and threats of epidemic disease in Guizhou goats,to find out the way of epidemic transmission and to control the source for veterinary epidemic prevention department.The accurate and effective immunization not only plays an important role in promoting the smooth development of the recommended sheep raising industry in highland mountain areas but also in preventing the public health hazards caused by animal blight.The results of the survey as follows:(1)Among 227 serum samples of small ruminant disease,115 serum antibodies were detected,positive rate was 50.66%;(2)In 137 serum samples of bluetongue,53 samples serum antibodies were detected,and positive rate was 38.69%;(3)Among 155 serum samples of FMDV nonstructural protein antibody,0 positive was detected,so positive rate was 0;in the 77 serum samples,there is no FMD type A detected by serum antibody,positive rate was 0;(4)The positive rate of mycoplasma pneumoniae in goat was 15.91,and the positive rate of mycoplasma mycoplasma subspecies was 23.28%;(5)Of 328 serum samples of goatpox,189 were serum antibodies,and the positive rate was 57.62%.(2)Etiology of main infectious diseases in goats:(1)in the 8 samples of goat ruminant disease,4 were found to be pathogenic,and the positive rate was 50.00%;(2)Of the 7 samples of infectious pleural pneumonia,2 were found to be pathogenic,and the positive rate was 28.57%;(3)Of the 4 samples of brucellosis,0 were found to be pathogenic;(4)in the 27 samples of bluetongue,4 were found to be pathogenic,and the positive rate was 14.82%.Through the serological and etiological investigation of the main infectious diseases of goats in Guizhou Province,we get the conclusions are as follows:1)small ruminant zoonotic disease,blue tongue disease,infectious pleuropneumonia and goat pox are the main infectious diseases that harm the goat industry in Guizhou province at present;2)in unvaccinated sheep,there is a risk of small ruminant zoonotic disease,blue~tongue disease,infectious pleural pneumonia and goatpox infection;3)according to the principle of prevention and control of infectious diseases,taking active and comprehensive measures can effectively control the occurrence of the above~mentioned infectious diseases,and improve the economic benefit of goat raising,and speed up the steps for farmers to extricate themselves from poverty.
