Purpose:Sleep accounts for about 1 / 3 of everyone's life,as important as food. With the continuous development of the society and the accelerating pace of life, the incidence of sleep disorders is rising rapidly, which has become a public health problem to be solved urgently. There are rich sleep medical thoughts in Huangdi Neijing, which is the theoretical source of sleep medicine in traditional Chinese medicine. The purpose of this study is to trace back to the source, systematically sort out and excavate the regulation mechanism of sleep medicine in Neijing, and discuss the health management methods of common sleep disorder diseases in Neijing. In order to provide theoretical basis for the treatment, prevention and health care of modern clinical sleep.Material and method:Using the method of documentary research, the descriptions of sleep theory in Neijing were systematically sorted out.The full text is mainly divided into two parts: The first part is the sleep regulation mechanism of Huangdi Neijing.Extract scripture about sleep physiology, pathology and regulation from Neijing, analyze and arrange at the same time, and summarize what sleep regulation methods and mechanism are in Neijing. The second part is the regulation of sleep disorders in Huangdi Neijing. There are abundant records on sleep disorders in Neijing.Common sleep disorders such as insomnia, excessive sleep and some sleep disorders(such as sleepwalking, dreamily, dream diet, dream intercourse, dream flying, dream abortion, nightmare and nightmare)are analyzed.Starting from each disorder, the concept, etiology and pathogenesis, syndrome characteristics and syndrome differentiation treatment are discussed.Relevant scripture is extracted and sorted out,and specific control methods for each common sleep disorder are summarized.Conclusion:1.The sleep regulation mechanism recorded in Neijing can be broadly summarized into the following five aspects:(1)Regulation of Heaven and Man: The sleep theory of " correspondence between heaven and man" is the inevitable result of the harmonious unity between man and nature." Harmony between Nature and Man,Imitation of Nature" is the most fundamental link in the sleep regulation mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine.(2)Ying-Wei regulation: The occurrence of the circadian rhythm(sleep-awakening)of the body's sleep is closely related to the periodic running state of the Ying-Wei qi due to the circadian rhythm change. The day and night movement of defensive qi " moving yang into yin" determines the sleep rhythm " day essence and night sleep".(3)Regulation of yin and yang: the rise and fall of yin and yang is directly related to the sleep and monitoring of the human body.Regarding the regulation of sleep,we should firmly grasp the key point of " coordinating the rise and fall of yin and yang in the body to conform to the rhythmic changes of yin and yang in nature".(4)Visceral regulation: Whether it is the respective functions of the five zang-organs for storing and purging,or the five gods, five chi and the harmony of the five zang-organs,all play an important role in the occurrence and regulation of sleep.(5)Regulation of meridians and acupoints: The regulation of shifting pulse to sleep is mainly reflected in regulating meridians and collaterals and balancing yin and yang by supplementing, purging, opening and closing meridians and acupoints(applying pulse and irradiating sea);In order to help health operation, adjust sleep,etc.2.Sleep disorders in Neijing are always classified into deficiency and excess, such as loss of nourishment of mind or disturbance of mind.3.For the treatment of sleep disorder diseases,Neijing advocates examining the syndrome and seeking the cause, treating according to syndrome differentiation, supplementing its deficiency and purging its excess.
