This article takes the Lianyungang dialect vocabulary as the research object,through the field investigation of Lianyungang dialect vocabulary and the collection and collation of relevant data,establishes a linguistic corpus of Lianyungang dialect whose number reaches more than 10,000.On the basis of collected corpus,from the perspective of Lexicology,it analyzes?the lexical word formation features,overlapping forms,and the semantic field of dialectical meanings of Lianyungang dialects,and uses the synchronic and diachronic perspectives to describe the vocabulary of Lianyungang dialect words.A horizontal and vertical comparative analysis was conducted in an attempt to explore the characteristics and laws of the Lianyungang dialect vocabulary.In addition,the author discusses the transitional characteristics of Lianyungang dialect vocabulary and its causes in conjunction with many factors such as the evolution of the district,geographical factors,historical immigration,and dialect contact.In addition to the introduction,the paper consists of six chapters,as follows:The introduction mainly reviews the history of dialect vocabulary research,introduces the research status of dialect vocabulary from various perspectives,describes the basic situation of geography,humanities and other aspects of Lianyungang,and clarifies the reasons for choosing Lianyungang dialect vocabulary for research.The Lianyungang dialect belongs to the Hongchao Area of the Jianghuai Mandarin dialect.There are certain general characteristics of the Jianghuai Mandarin in the characteristics of the dialect.At the same time,it is also on the boundary between the Jianghuai Mandarin and the Central Plains Mandarin.It is also influenced by the Central Plains Mandarin,and also because of historical immigration and other aspects,it also have close links with Wu dialects.As a whole,Lianyungang dialect vocabulary has many features such as diversity,communicability,inclusiveness,and transitionality.At present,the research on Lianyungang dialect vocabulary can be said to be a blank.Only has individual articles which are limited to the analysis of scattered materials.Most of the contents are relatively simple,and they only stay at the level of description.They lack systematic and in-depth research in theory.The study of this paper uses first-hand data from field surveys as the most important source of corpus and combines with other relevant materials that can be collected to record local language vocabulary.It screens,reviews,and collates Lianyungang dialect vocabulary and establishes Lianyungang Dialect Lexical Corpus.Based on this,using the related theories of Chinese lexicology,semantics,and dialect geography,combined with research content,using methods of comparative analysis,quantitative qualitative and other methods,give multi-angle analysis about the similarities and differences between Lianyungang dialect words and Mandarin,related dialects,so as to dig the Lianyungang dialect vocabulary multifaceted characteristics and the evolution of the dialects in different regions of the process of contact deeply.The first chapter mainly studies the word formation of Lianyungang dialect.Lianyungang dialect vocabulary and Mandarin vocabulary have certain consistency in terms of word formation,but there are also great differences,which can be expressed not only in the choice of morhpemes but also in the word formation method.Specific difference.This section mainly selects the prominent aspects of word formation in Lianyungang dialects,namely,the affixes and high-frequency morphemes.There are abundant affixes in Lianyungang dialect vocabulary.There has both shared with Mandarin,but show different degrees of difference in terms of word formation ability,collocation range,frequency of use,etc.,and distinctive features of Lianyungang dialect that express distinct local characteristics.As a whole,the affixes in Lianyungang's dialects have the characteristics of fewer prefixes and more suffixes,and some common suffixes reflect differences in word formation ability,wide and narrow range of collocations,and some opposing suffixes,such as the use of "-AA"and "-A-A" as a group shows more complex features than Mandarin.Among the numerous suffixes in the Lianyungang dialect,the "?"affix has the strongest ability to construct words,and there are many types of words that can be collocated.It can be attached to nouns,verbs,adjectives,quantifiers,and after adverbials and pronouns.The range of words that can be matched by "?"affixes and the choice of words that mark the concept of similar things are quite different from those of Mandarin,and there are some distinctive words and features that are clearly different from Mandarin and other regions' dialects.Although the "?" affixes in the Lianyungang dialect are not as good as "?" suffixes in terms of word formation ability,word formation range,and frequency of use,it is also an affix that is widely used and distinctive in the dialect.It has shown many characteristics on pronunciation,word formation and practical use.Even some usages are obviously influenced by the Wu dialect.The morphemes in the word formation also show prominent features,many animal and digital morphemes have strong word formation abilities in the Lianyungang dialect and they constract many unique words in the Lianyungang dialect,in addition,there are some morphemes that are closely related to people's daily life such as"?""?","?" and so on,words with superstitious colors,such as "ghosts" and "gods",also show many unique word formation phenomena.The second chapter is mainly about the research of the overlapping form of Lianyungang dialect.In Lianyungang dialect,there are a large number of overlapping word formations and overlapping configuration types.This chapter mainly starts with these two aspects in Lianyungang dialect,and discusses in depth the respective manifestations of two overlapping forms of different natures.In terms of word formation,most of the overlapping words in Lianyungang dialect are adjectives,which are the same as those of Mandarin.However,in terms of specific word formation,they show many different features that are different from Mandarin.In particular,in terms of word formation,there are many overlaps word formation forms can't be seen in Mandarin,such as "A?A","ABCC","AABC","A ? BB","ABCB",and "ABAB".In terms of the proportion of word-formation syllables,the overlapping word formation in Lianyungang dialect is dominated by three-syllable and four-syllable.In terms of word formation type,four-syllable overlapping words are the most abundant word-formation types,showing a large difference from Mandarin.In terms of overlapping configuration,the overlapping configuration of Lianyungang dialect vocabulary is studied in depth through two perspectives:the distribution of overlapping morphological types of different parts of speech and the applicable objects of different overlapping configurations.Based on the distinctive analysis of two different types of overlapping forms,give comparative analysis of them and explore the similarities and differences between the two types of overlapping forms.As a whole,Lianyungang dialect is rich in word-formation overlap and configuration overlap,and its internal representation has its own characteristics.Both have strong word formation ability and extensive use.The third chapter is mainly about the semantic field of Lianyungang dialect.This chapter mainly analyzes the semantic differences between dialects and Mandarin from several important aspects that can highlight the characteristics of Lianyungang dialects:synonymous,antisense,polysemy,and classification.Lianyungang dialect has a wide distribution of synonymous semantic fields.Compared with Mandarin,it has different features such as different number and feature of sememes.In particular,some of the animals and plants,foods,and other state and action fields that are expressed in the locality not only have a special sememe in the Lianyungang dialect,but also often have a number of different sememes to express.Many of them cannot find the corresponding righteousness in Mandarin,and semantic vacancies are existed.Through the analysis of some of the characteristic categories of the synonymous field in this dialect,summarize the characteristics of the synonymous field of Lianyungang dialect,and explore the reasons for the richness of synonyms in the Lianyungang dialect and the the ways of forming synonyms.The antisense meaning field mainly analyzes the different types of antisense meaning fields and their different types which are different from Putonghua and are selected from the corpus and To explore the dialect features of the antisense field in the Lianyungang dialect in terms of the composition of the righteousness and the correspondence between syllables.The multi-meaning field mainly selects the polysemy meaning field in which the Lianyungang dialect differs from that of Putonghua,and compares the similarities and differences of the polysemy meaning field between the dialect and the Putonghua,and on this basis,focuses on the polysemy meaning field of the dialect.The uniqueness of the features of the rich dialects and the fundamental aspects of the connection vm between the righteousness of the polysemy.Due to factors such as local special geography,living habits,dietary preferences and other factors,Lianyungang dialect has some common sememes that are consistent with Mandarin,and there are also various distinctive features,which can highlight the features of dialects in Lianyungang.Some of the classification fields,such as appellation categories,food and drink,language and action classes,as well as the interpretation of the local fishery salt production and operation class,are analyzed in detail,and the detailed analysis of the characteristics of these dialects that carry rich local colors.The fourth chapter is a comparative study of Lianyungang dialect and other dialects.This chapter is divided into two sections.The first section compares Lianyungang dialect vocabulary with dialect vocabulary of relevant representatives in Jiangsu Province;Section 2 compares Lianyungang dialect vocabulary with dialect vocabulary of official dialect representatives.By horizontally and targetedly comparing the Lianyungang dialect vocabulary with the corresponding regional vocabulary at the synchronic level,the internal consistency and difference of the dialect vocabulary in Lianyungang dialect and the corresponding dialect area are thoroughly investigated.Further sum up the characteristics of the vocabulary of Lianyungang dialect,and the specific vocabulary performance influenced by the penetration of language contact in the surrounding area.In addition,through the internal comparison of vocabulary,the close relationship between Lianyungang dialect and other corresponding dialects is sorted out and a vocabulary basis for the division of dialects is provided.The fifth chapter is the diachronic comparative study of Lianyungang dialect vocabulary.The Lianyungang dialect vocabulary retains a large number of ancient words.Like other dialect,the Lianyungang dialect has undergone continuous development and evolution in the long historical process.In terms of vocabulary,both have the inheritance of the ancient language and the evolving development on the basis of the ancient language.In the first and second sections of this chapter,we mainly discuss the classification of ancient language words in different historical periods in Lianyungang dialect from the perspectives of inherited words and variant words.We use ancient textual documents to clarify the period of use,and from the changes in the number and meaning of syllables,the statistics of the different types of performance,the proportion of inheritance and variation in different historical periods,the contents of the ancient language words and expressions,etc.,sort out in detail the characteristics and laws of the inheritance and development of the ancient language words in the Lianyungang dialect.The sixth chapter is about the transition characteristics and reasons of Lianyungang dialect vocabulary.Lianyungang dialect is influenced by factors such as its geographical position,dialect ownership,political evolution,population migration,and economic and cultural factors.It shows the transitional characteristics of integrating multiple local dialects.The first section mainly uses the perspective of geographic linguistics,and based on the comprehensive consideration of Lianyungang dialect vocabulary,selects the characteristics of words,morphemes and geographical distribution that are obviously affected by southern or northern dialects.The relationship,the structure of semantic positions in certain semantic fields,and other aspects explored the transitional characteristics of Lianyungang dialect vocabulary.The second section mainly starts with the factors such as the geographic location of Lianyungang,the subordination and change of administrative divisions,and the historical factors of migration.It discusses in detail the influence of non-linguistic factors on the vocabulary of Lianyungang dialect,and explores the reasons for the different performance of the recent sparse relationship between Lianyungang dialect vocabulary and the corresponding regions.
