Study On Protection Of Traditional Villages In Shaanxi Province

Traditional villages refer to those villages with rich culture and natural resources,which were formed earlier and have certain historical,cultural,scientific,artistic,economic and social values,which is supposed to be protected.Traditional village is an important symbol of the ancestors of the Chinese nation who changed their living style from collecting and hunting to farming civilization.It is also a relatively stable unit that constitute an ethnic group It is a kind of tangible cultural heritage that actually exists on the vast land of China with a long history and is still in use.The number of traditional villages in Shaanxi Province ranks behind in China at the moment.At the time of December 2018,there were four batches of 113 traditional villages being selected to be at national level,accounting for 1.7% of the sum,with a density of 0.34 per square kilometres,slightly lower than 0.43 per square kilometres,the average of China.According to the survey on the f 30 national traditional villages by the author,the current situation of protection and development of traditional villages in Shaanxi Province is at different levels,and the current situation of preservation is not optimistic.Through field research,the spatial distribution of traditional villages in China and Shaanxi was indicated and then contribute to the explanations of the reasons for the occurrence.It therefore puts forward some problems that traditional villages in Shaanxi met in current protection and makes a deep analysis on them.According to the existing problems,the principles of authenticity,integrity,living state and sustainable development are to be followed.The process of protection should be carried out from four aspects: Location and landscape pattern,modern civilization development,coordination of village protection and environment design,coordinated development of village protection and modern economy.Finally,involving the five values,including historical value,cultural value,artistic value,scientific value and social value,this paper establishes the value evaluation system of traditional villages in Shaanxi through analytic hierarchy process,thus launching the value evaluation of traditional villages.As a result,the specific strategies are raised,based on the conclusions of the value evaluation combined with the varying issues in the three regions.
