Research On The Protection And Development Of Traditional Villages In Urbanization Process

With the rapid development of our country’s economy and society, the process of industrialization and urbanization is constantly advancing. This kind of unprecedented scale and rapid development make the city’s wealth, population and area rapidly expanding, the urbanization wave swept over the whole of China. Behind the great changes, there are some problems:a large number of valuable traditional villages face the fate of the disappearance and destruction.Now the government has published a series of policies, to better protect the traditional village of our country. In the face of the current economic and political situation, it is imperative to protect and develop the study of traditional villages.This paper makes the scientific and comprehensive research on the related issue of the protection and development of traditional village, on the basis of the collecting and organizing the related data of traditional village. The paper is divided into six chapters: the first chapter summarizes the successful experience of abroad in the conservation and development of traditional villages, explains the related concepts, and defines the research’s object and scope, based on the traditional village protection and the development background, purpose, significance, domestic and foreign related research review. The second chapter describes the general situation of traditional Chinese villages in the process of urbanization, and combs the distribution and the present situation of shaanxi traditional villages; The third chapter discovers a series of issues and thought about it through analysing the current situation, thus summarizing that the protection and development is the only road for traditional countries;The fourth chapter confirms the necessity in protection and development of traditional counties, through analysing the characteristics of the constituent elements and value of traditional villages; The fifth chapter systematically summarizes the context and principles of protection and development of traditional countries; The sixth chapter provides the approach that paying equal attention to both protection and development under the guideline of the context of protection and development,and examines the scientificalness and feasibility of research methods demonstrated in this dissertation;This paper contributes to make traditional countries acquire forceful and inheritance in the processing of urbanization, and fulfill the living demanding of villages at the same time, which could stimulate a new life of traditional countries and afford reference for the future protection and development of traditional countries.
