Jack David Zipes is a famous American fairy tale expert and translator,and is known as the champion of American fairy tales.He has been committed to the study of fairy tales for a long time,and formed a comprehensive and in-depth theoretical system of fairy tales,which plays an important role in the field of international fairy tales research.His fairy tale theory system is mainly composed of three notion and specific methods of Jack Zipes' fairy tale theory.It can be said that,New Marxism is the main source of Jack Zipes' fairy tale theory.The second chapter analyzes Jack Zipes' view on fairy tales,mainly to introduce Jack Zipes'epistemology of fairy tales based on the history of western concept of fairy tales.This dissertation focuses on the two historical stages of fairy tales:oral folk
