This dissertation takes "v+and(hé)+v" type coordinative phrases used as Predicate in modern Chinese as the research subject, trying to give a detailed answer to its related matters, and to reflect some more macro problems. It can be divided into 6 chapters.Chapter 1,introduction: This chapter mainly introduces the scope of this study, explains the reasons and practical value of this study, shows the general argumentation ideas, and simply describes the general situation of the achievements.Chapter 2,the attribute of " v+and(hé)+v " coordinative phrases : In this chapter,we choose samples from the corpus to investigate the syntactic distribution of " v+and(hé)+v ".Through the data,we preliminarily conclude that " v+and(hé)+v " are predicative.Later, this chapter makes a theoretical and practical analysis on the phenomena that " v+and(hé)+v " can act as subject and object but can't act as predicate independently,it used the conjunction " hé" and it sometimes be modified by noun quantifier,we finally thinks that they can't deduce the conclusion that " v+and(hé)+v " are referential in nature ".Then,On the basis of answering the inherent questions, this chapter holds that the standard coordinative phrases are all centripetal structures, that " v+and(hé)+v " and "v" keep the same predication, and that " v+and(hé)+v " are a "V".Chapter 3,the basic situation of " v+and(hé)+v " coordinative phrases in the predicate position: First of all, this chapter investigates the specific distribution and expression state of " v+and(hé)+v " coordinative phrases in the location of the predicate. Then this chapter begins to focus on the open component "v" in the format, describing its form and meaning representation. We find the strong disyllabic nature of "v" in this usage and explain the reasons. We explore whether the position of two "v" can be reversed under the function of sorting principle, and whether the two "v" have strict correspondence in attribute, structure and semantic classification. Finally, this chapter attempts to solve the problem of describing the overall state of coordinative items in the research of coordinative phrases. This classic problem can be reflected by the usage of " v+and(hé)+v " used as a predicate, and can finally be pushed back to the coordinative items of " v+and(hé)+v " used as a predicate and all other forms of coordinative phrases. This paper examines the origin of coordinative items, demonstrates the general state of coordinative items, and points out the essence of the representation of "unity of form and meaning" in the classical opinion.Chapter 4,collocation conditions and construction rules of " v+and(hé)+v " used as predicate: In this chapter,we firstly investigate the types of additional elements that " v+and(hé)+v " need when they are used as predicate, and introduce their classical interpretation---"common relevance theory".Then, this paper points out the problems in the explanatory power and implicit concept of "common relevance theory",and finally identifies these additional elements as "sentence completion elements".In order to fully solve the problem from the perspective of sentence completion, this paper then creates a set of verb predicate sentence completion mechanism and uses this mechanism to explain the corresponding corpus of " v+and(hé)+v " used as predicate. Then, from the perspective of this sentence completion mechanism, this paper reexamines the types and use states of various additional components. At the end of this chapter,we focus on the situation that " v+and(hé)+v " are used as predicate in special sentence patterns. We explain the state of subordinate or degraded predicate structure, serial verb structure, concurrent predicate structure and other complex sentences, and analyze the realization of additional elements in non ordinary structural sentences.Chapter 5,structure analysis path of the sentence with " v+and(hé)+v " used as predicate: To solve the problem of sentence structure analysis path, this chapter first takes " v+and(hé)+v " sentence s as examples, and analyzes the general position that they and all other paratactic phrases must abide by.According to the possibility of real thinking,we believe that the analytic perspective of "two sentences merging" should not exist, and "two items directly combined into sentences" is the only solution. We have cracked the so-called methodological advantages of the "two sentence combination view",confirmed the applicable ability of "two items directly combined into sentences",and finally analyzed and discussed the concept of " common existence of the above two modes".Next, this chapter attempts to explore the organizational relationship between the internal components of " v+and(hé)+v " sentence.Based on the existing results,we derive the dependency analysis scheme of " v+and(hé)+v " sentence, and find some new problems. Then we inspect the classical "first item dominant theory" and "two branch structure theory".Finally, based on the existing concepts, this paper proposes our own dependency analysis scheme.Chapter 6," v+ hé+v " and " v+bìng +v " in the position of the predicate: This chapter first investigates the occurrence, location, semantic relationship and the possibility of exchanging conjunctions between " v+ hé+v " and " v+bìng +v ".Then this chapter introduces the new understanding of the status of " hé" and " bìng ".Finally, this chapter studies the usage tendency of conjunctions of " v+ hé+v " and " v+bìng +v ".We examine the equal juxtaposition of " v+ hé+v ",show the strong function of subjective perspective in adjusting semantics and changing conjunctions, and discuss the restrictive effect of subjective cognition and subjective emotion on subjective perspective,as well as the specific effect of their role in selecting conjunctions.Chapter 7,conclusion: this chapter summarizes the main conclusions and innovations of the paper, and makes reflections and prospects.
