A Study On The Urban Space Justice Thought Of Neo-Marxist Urban School

"Urban Spatial Justice"is the key subject and theory of the neo-Marxist urban schools.This paper focuses on the concept of urban spatial justice of the neo-Marxist urban schools and makes an attempt to give a perspective analysis on the parts of theoretical appearance,injustice critique,theoretical imagination,comprehensive approaches,theoretical evaluation and the enlightenment in China.Firstly,it shows the emergent logic of the thought of the urban spatial justice of neo-Marxist urban schools from the aspects of reality demands,theoretical criticism and discourse change.Secondly,it investigates the neo-Marxist urban schools' criticism of capitalist urban spatial injustice from the three aspects of the motivation system,basic representations and consequences of modernity.Thirdly,it explains the theoretical imagination of future urban spatial justice of neo-Marxist urban schools,which are the production of socialist urban space,urban spatial resources for public use,the balance of urban spatial structure,multi-level governance of urban spatial management,and the ecological harmony of urban spatial planning.It represents the ideal prospects of urban spatial justice of neo-Marxist urban schools,by using the connotation of Henri Lefebvre's Differential Space,David Harvey's Spaces of Hope and Edward W.Soja's Third Space.In the end,it rearranges the general plan of neo-Marxist urban school seeking urban spatial justice,through the three aspects of the knowledge strategies,the transformative powers and the forms of struggle.On the part of the theoretical evaluation,based on Marxist judging criteria,the paper analyzes the theoretical qualities,contributions and limitations of the thought of the urban spatial justice of neo-Marxist urban schools by means of the textual investigation of Marxist classical works.On the part of Chinese enlghtenment,based on the construction situation of the urbanization in China,especially after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,this paper explores the significant enlightenment of the thought of urban spatial justice of neo-Marxist urban school.The conclusions of this paper:The the urban spatial justice thought of the neo-Marxist urban schools can help us to focus on the problems of urban spatial justice in the process of new-type urbanization,and also help us to understand the system deficiency of capitalist urbanization.Thus,we will be more confident in the system of the new-type urbanization with Chinese characteristics.In addition,China's urbanization is unique with its own national conditions.We must avoid copying the theory of the western urbanization to discuss the problems in the China's urbanization.We should construct our own discourse system of urban spatial justice.However,the beneficial elements of the neo-Marxist urban schools can provide ideological resources and theoretical references for the construction of the theory of urban spatial justice with Chinese characteristics.
