Europe produced then suppressed Aristotle;the Islamic world salvaged and radicalized then suppressed Aristotle, but not before this radicalized Aristotle was transmitted back to Europe, sparking the Enlightenment. While Europe rose the Islamic world fell, and China among other parts experienced European imperialism.Aristotelian thought was introduced into China in a number of ways, and in some respects,it is part of the logic underpinning Chinese success today;the Islamic world should learn from its own past and how it's past influences have transformed the world, and the study of Aristotle's trajectory, including through China, provides a remarkable case study for developing without succumbing entirely to European values. After the West has lost Aristotle and other aspects of its Greek heritage with the rise of Augustinian theology and other forms of Platonism,Aristotelian thought and heritage found its way into the Islamic world. The latter adopted this thought and translated it into Arabic before returning it back to the West again. In the current work,we will try to highlight how was the return of Aristotle and the Greek thought to the West at the hands of the Islamic world.Furthermore,we will shed light on its impact on the West and European thought and consequently on many subsequent events, including the arrival of Aristotle in China as well as the European Enlightenment, the emergence of Western imperialism, colonialism,Orientalism and the rise of European nationalism, which makes the Islamic world a participant in this Aristotelian trend. In this study,we will trace down the historical stages underlying the entry of Aristotle and the Greek heritage to the Islamic world, with special emphasis on the translated works that paved the way to the introduction of Aristotle and the Greek heritage to the region before bringing it back to the West.We will also demonstrate the extent to which the Islamic world had impactedthe West through various translations from Arabic to Latin and led to Western Renaissance. We will also show how the loss of Aristotle led to the decline of the Islamic world especially after the rise of the West.As the Islamic world reverence to Aristotle philosophy did not last forever as it was later faced with a wave of objections insomuch as Aristotelian subjectivity was extremely developed in a way that made it too strict resistant the sort of submission to God and Caliph that was required both politically and religiously. This rejection of Aristotle became one of the key factors of the collapse of the Islamic empire after reaching the so-called golden era.In this study,we shed light on the asymmetries underlying the entry and use of Aristotle in the Islamic world and China which stem from the differences and reasons that fostered its penetration into both regions.Although China was subjected to Western influences, its history and ancient philosophy, which precedes this Western renaissance, made China a special state that was able to invent its own experience and its special model of development and advancement. This makes us address some of the aspects of the Chinese experience in the Renaissance without succumbing to European values and the possibility of benefiting from it and applying it in the Islamic world that has declined since it lost rationality and scientific competition.
