From "Gender Equality" To "Gender Harmony"

Marxism believes that equal rights,as the marble connection between people,leads to the estrangement between people.Consistent with this,to modern women's liberation regards "gender equality" as the content,which makes gender relations gradually opposite-"gender equality" is "the Enlightenment" against the patriarchal society caused by the "modernity",and only under marxist view of human liberation,can feminism research truly achieve gender harmony.The history of human civilization is a kind of social history marked by patriarchal domination.Men occupy the highest position of gender and enslave women,making women stay on the "edge" of gender for a long time.This serious imbalance between the sexes makes women's social status only higher than slaves,and they are attached to men in ideology,gender identity and social role.No matter how change it is,the transmission of "secondary" identity of women is intergenerational.The inequality between the sexes is a miniature of the human social inequality,and the patriarchal attempt to suppress women in ideology,gender identity and social role in all aspects,with the false theory of "existence is reasonable",in order to suppress the awakening of women.In the perspective of Marxist theory and reality,the unequal relationship is not only the suppression of women,but also the alienation of men.The rise of modern enlightenment makes feminism pursue gender equality theoretically and practically.However,feminism presents that "women" look up to "men",holding "gender equality" will be achieved by getting the same rights and status as men,which is the illusion of "gender equality".More and more radical feminists tried to set up the feminist self-confidence to achieve liberation in the means of "feminism" overthrow "male power" and "gender" replace "human nature".But it not only separates the gender unity,but also excludes the alienated male from the category of female liberation.Marx reveals that the freedom of one group comes at the expense of the freedom of another group."As this community is the union of one class against another,it is not only a completely illusory community for the governed class,but also a new shackle.(Selected Works of Marx and Engels,Vol.1,p.119)By analyzing the theories and practices of feminism in different periods with marxist alienation theory,it founds that the nature,physical behavior,psychology and other aspects of women present alienation under the guidance of alienation feminism,which directly leads to women's alienated understanding of "gender equality" and female liberation.Starting from the Marxist theory,this paper describes the goal,basic content and realistic requirement of women's liberation,which requires the vision of human liberation to realize the harmony between the sexes,namely,to eliminate the gender difference,to realize the free and full development of both sexes and the ideal of life shared by both sexes.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which explains the reason and significance of the topic.Based on the attention to the problems of women and the conflicts between men and women in contemporary society,marxist theory is used as a tool to analyze the female liberation,and it is found that the female liberation presents a alienation trend,and the feminist research must be reformed.Marx's elaboration on the nature of human beings requires that women's liberation must be included in human liberation,and the goal of gender equality liberation should be raised to human liberation,and that it is a real human liberation and the realization of the harmony between the two sexes.The combination of Marxist theory research and feminist research is not only of contemporary significance to the practice of Marxism,but also of scientific guidance to the restoration of women's freedom and equality.The second chapter is about generation and evolution of gender inequality.The patriarchal society fundamentally negates the natural free and equal rights of women,thus depriving the equal rights of citizens in the secular society of women.Women have long been oppressed by the dual system of class society and patriarchy,until the enlightenment and The French Revolution,when the re-discussion of the natural equal rights of human beings,namely "all men are created equal",awakened the feminist consciousness.The third chapter is about gender inequality to the pursuit of gender equality is the liberation of women.Women began from the secular equal rights of citizens and the moral consciousness of "all people are equal" as a starting point,restoring of women's freedom and equality.Overthrowing patriarchy is only one part of women's liberation,but women's liberation puts the wheel in the other direction by carrying out a series of radical liberation movements and some radical feminist propaganda,which makes the overall women's liberation show a one-sided development trend and the content of liberation is mostly about rights liberation.Problems left over from the history of gender relations and feminist radical measures have escalated the conflicts between the two sexes,and the limited victory has been achieved along with the emergence of many new female problems,such as female poverty,female employment discrimination and so on.The forth chapter is about the theory of alienation is used to analyze female liberation.Under the perspective of alienation theory,women's "species essence",ideology and body,behavior,and so on were alienated,this will directly lead to the deviation of women's cognition of "gender equality".The connotation of "gender equality" defined with the sense of alienation and the female liberation carried out with the attitude of alienation will be the liberation of alienation and failure.Women's neglect of male alienation and their neglect of individual development will lead to women's one-sidedness liberation.Thinking must be reformed,so,women's liberation and marxist alienation theory as well as about the species essence discourse are emphasized only in the communist society,mankind can realize the sublation of alienation and achieve the most fundamental goal of human liberation.Therefore,women's liberation must be included in human liberation,and the goal of gender equality liberation should be raised to human liberation.The fifth chapter is about women's liberation under the goal of human liberation and the gender harmony in the vision of human liberation.Marx believed that to realize freedom,it is necessary to abandon alienated labor,so that people's kind of activities are no longer dominated by alien forces and return to the conscious kind of free activities.Therefore,placing women's liberation in human liberation will not only abolish human alienation,but also restore one-sided equality of rights to human liberation,which will eliminate the antagonism between the sexes,from mutual negation to mutual identification,from mutual contempt to mutual appreciation,from mutual opposition to mutual support.In this way,both sexes share the same ideal of life,which is the ultimate goal of women's liberation from the perspective of human liberation--gender harmony.
