Research On The Work Of The Communist Youth League And Its Innovative Development In The New Era

Chinese youth are not only the hope of the country and the nation but also the hope of the Communist Party of China(CPC),and always the vanguard of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.A brilliant job in youth work is related to the future of the country and the nation,to the stability of the youth foundation in power of the party,to the realization of the dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and to the inevitable requirement of the modernization of national governance in the new era.Therefore,the CPC has always paid high attention to the development of the Communist Youth League(CYL),which plays a significant social pillar and assistant to the youth work of the Party.The CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping as the core has also pointed out the direction for the value orientation of the CYL's work in the new era and made momentous arrangements for the reform of the CYL under the new situation.Flowing the Party,the CYL has indeed played an irreplaceable role in cultivating and storing young talents for the Party,uniting and mobilizing the young people around the central task of the Party,guiding young people to consciously cultivate and practice communist beliefs,serving the people and safeguarding the rights and interests of the young people,participating in innovative social governance and maintaining social stability.However,at the same time,it should also be noticed that in the new era,the CYL is still facing the challenges of "mechanization,administration,aristocracy,entertainment" induced,or “MAAE”,which are caused by various factors.The work of the CYL has not been able to effectively meet the growing development needs of young people,and there are still some places that are not in line with the requirements of the comprehensive reform of the modernization of national governance.This not only needs to be carried out on the basis of the reform achievements of the CYL at the practical level but also needs to be followed up by relative researches in a timely manner.Therefore,through the study of the work of the CYL and its innovative development In the new era,this essay aims to break through the sporadic results of the muti-disciplinary research,the lack of the systematicness of thought's theoretical foundation and the summary of historical experience,and the lack of macroscopic guidance of the CYL's work practice.With the history as the inspiration and the problem solving as the consequence,this study will be guided by the view on the youth of Marxism and will combine the multidisciplinary research results from the view of the CPC's history.On the basis of pursuing the source of the ideological and theoretical basis for the CYL by the leading of the Party,this study will comprehensively review the practice course of the CYL since the founding of the Party,and to sum up the historical experiences,to explore the law of development,to analyze the new characteristics and new demands of the youth groups arising from the changes of the times,and to explore the policy of innovation and development of the work of the CYL in the new era.This thesis mainly includes five parts:Part one: first of all,through systematically combing some significant views of Marx,Engels,Lenin and other Marxist classical writers on the status and role of youth,the ways of all-round liberation and development of youth groups and how the party leads youth organizations to do a great job in youth work,then to define the basic theoretical core of Marxist youth view.Next,we will systematically comb the thoughts of the leaders of the CPC including Mao Zedong,Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin,Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping,which superbly combine with the reality of Chinese revolution,construction and reform,as well as their understanding of the work of the CYL and the youth problems in different historical stages.This paper will reveal the characteristics of the times of the view on the youth of the CPC and the inheritance and development of the view on the youth of Marxist,which will lay the ideological and theoretical foundation for this study.Part two: This part will combine with the reality of Chinese political,economic and social development and changes of the overall characteristics of youth groups,which under the leadership of the CPC in the process of constantly promoting the CYL organization and its various work innovation.This part will focus on the characteristics of the work of the CYL about the organization nature,organizational structure design,organizational principles,organizational environment construction and other organizational internal and external ecological construction.Part three: This part will describe the history of the CYL,and also comb the important working practices and achievements of the CYL in guiding,organizing,mobilizing,uniting and serving young people around the central tasks of the CPC in each period,and finally sum up the basic experience of the work of the CYL.The history of the CYL mainly includes four stages,which from the spark of the Socialist Youth League lit up in all parts of the country at the beginning of the New Democratic Revolution,to the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China,to the period of "Cultural Revolution",and then to the reorganization,restoration,development,and all-round and active historical process of the socialist construction with Chinese characteristics.Part fourth: first of all,it studies that the Party and the government,under the new era and new situation,have brought the CYL into the overall design of the modernization of national governance,the innovation of the new information technology represented by "Internet +",the new opportunities,new resources and new platforms that provided by the new urbanization and the development of social organizations;Next,combining with the analysis of the characteristics of youth groups in the new era,this paper studies the effective coverage of these new changes to the CYL,the organizational structure of the CYL,the contents and methods of the work of the CYL,and the "MAAE" of the CYL itself.The fifth part: On the basis of systematically combing the practical course of the work of the CYL of China,summing up the basic experience of the work of the CYL,deeply analyzing the challenges and opportunities faced by the CYL in the new era,this paper puts forward the thoughts and methods of the current work innovation of the CYL.Besides,it probes into the innovative development measures of strengthening the pertinence and timeliness of the youth work in the aspects of ideological guidance,working methods,and organizational platform construction.In a word,seeing from the practical course of the CYL of China,the work of the CYL is a constantly updated work.The innovative development of the work of the CYL is significant to the development of the CPC,the country and the nation,as well as to the growth and development of youth groups,as well as to the development of the CYL itself.Therefore,under the leadership of the Party and in accordance with the basic requirements of "political,advanced and mass nature",the CYL needs to continue to inherit and carry forward the fine tradition of the work of itself.Moreover,it should seize the new opportunities which brought by the new changes in China's political,economic,and social development,face squarely all kinds of challenges and problems from within and outside,grasp the new characteristics of youth groups,and seek new breakthroughs in the new layout of the modernization of state governance.Chinese Dream,who is better able to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,condenses the strength of Chinese youth.
