Nowadays,the development of China's education faces a series of challenges along with social transformation,there are many new problems and phenomena.Labor education is not a new problem but the disregardful one.The ministry of education,the central committee of the communist party of China(CPC)and the national committee of youth and industry jointly issued the "opinions on strengthening the labor education of primary and secondary schools" on August 3,2015.Issued of "Opinion" not only reflects the party and government are paying higher attention to labor education,but also the labor education has been weakened,soften and faded in educational fields.Disregardful labor education is recalled by people,the recalled has its new historical and cultural background,has its new connotation which has been enriched,has its new reality,of course,there are new chaos and insufficiency as well.Value is a "dimension of life" of labor education,exploring the value of labor education is one way to get out of the problems on its own development,is a kind of efforts to promote theoretical consciousness and a response to the new context in the new period.This paper consists of introduction,main body(5 chapters)and conclusion.The introduction mainly discusses the origin,research purpose and significance,literature review,research methods and possible innovation and deficiencies.The first chapter is about the concept of labor and the theoretical basis of labor education.On one hand,how to understand the concept of "labor" is the primary problems to discuss labor education.This chapter firstly analyzes the conception of “labor” with metaphysical method from the etymology,and try to draw the theoretical field of labor education from the perspective of ontology.On the other hand,discovering the theory of labor education through interpreting the conception,system and characteristics helps to clarify fundamental misunderstood of labor education,deepen current researches,extend the space for the theory of labor education researches,and expand the vision of theory research on labor education.The second chapter traces the change trajectory of the value orientation about China's labor education.Labor education itself is a dynamic and developing concept,which is the embodiment of the natural history process and the choice of the spirit of times with development of social productive forces.In order to realize the purpose of every stage of labor education,the government has introduced the corresponding work of labor education,and the implementation in different periods reflects corresponding value of education in this period.In order to visualize the change of the labor education value orientation since the establishment of PRC(People's Republic of China).This study adopts the traditional method of timing division of historical process.Labor education in embryonic form period(1949-1956)highlighted the "physical strength",in comprehensive exploration period(1957-1965)it focused on the "material production",during the Cultural Revolution(1966-1976)it improved a tool of "class struggle",in recovery and reconstruction period(1977-1998)it highlighted "technology" and in the deepening of the reform period(1999-present)labor education developed based on "accomplishment".The value of labor education was changed,in order to promote the modern transformation of China's labor education,I make effort to explore the realistic base points and striving direction of China's labor educational value orientation in future by reviewing the trajectory of China's labor educational value orientation and the specific operation mechanism in practical level based on this orientation at fundamental level,at the same time draw the change track of labor education value orientation.The third chapter,reality check: the value crisis of the labor education.We can find out many misunderstanding of the concept of “Labor” by examining current labor education,which has been mistaken for skill learning,entertainment,punishment,or reduced to skills training.There are many value distortion in labor education,such as the purpose of "acrotic",the content of "knowledgeable",the ways of "disembodied",the environment of “unnatural”,the method of "discipline" and so on.The main cause lies in the cultural confusion,the system vacancy,the evaluation loss,the condition vacancy.The fourth chapter,theoretical construction: labor educational value space.Through the tridimensional cognitive schema of possible space,expected space and real space,we could find out that the individual which is the natural,social and uncompleted existence are in demand of learning how to subsist,associate and surpass.This demand has marked off the expected space of individual for labor education.The ontological attribute of labor education which helps individual gather experience,cultivate public consciousness and describing oneself decides the possible value space of itself.The external conditions such as the counterbalance with political environment,the coupling with productivity and the symbiosis with cultural,becomes the real space which decides implement of the value of labor education.Explore the value of labor education from possible space,expected space to real space is conducive to help us break through thinking limitation of perceived value in subject-object relationship and carry out the “exploit of possibility” that could promote personal cognition and improve external condition.The fifth chapter,how to realize the value of labor education.The problem of labor education to value is the respect and destination for labor educational value.It's also a problem of educational practice about how labor education making it a reality,these are unavoidable problems for both education theory researchers and educational practioners.Labor education as an important civilizing mode to promote students' overall development and make the way of happy life,it should return to natural in practice.We should strength the labor education's connection with students' realistic life,march toward freedom for body,pay attention to the experience of students,thus,we could cover the gap of educational field and labor field.We could also guide the students have a happy life through labor created.Conclusion,the unity of truth,goodness and beauty: the return of labor education value.In the new period,we clear the value of "good","truth" and "beauty" in labor field.Recalling labor education doesn't mean that labor could replace all the ways of education,while reasonable labor education won't obliterate the motivation of other kinds of education.It is a way to combine other education,do real in awaking the value of "truth","goodness" and "beauty" and in promoting the all-round development of people.
