Human psychology has cultural attributes.The definition of mental health can not be separated from a certain social culture and mental health education also needs to find a suitable cultural foundation in multicultural coexistence.The relationship between culture and mental health education is mutual promotion,mutual influence and high correlation.The role of culture in mental health education is mainly reflected in scale,orientation,molding and inheritance.Based on this,the mental health education that loses the cultural foundation and ignores the cultural connotation has lost the life vitality of its application.Under the multicultural framework,the psychological health education that does not have a cultural adaptation will inevitably lead to poor effectiveness.Based on a broad perspective of multiculturalism and taking universities as an example,this paper proposes that the solution to the effectiveness of mental health education in universities is to solve the problem of cultural compatibility of mental health education in universities under the multicultural framework.There are some unsatisfactory aspects of mental health education in contemporary Chinese colleges and universities.Such as the lack of culture in the allocation of resources,education and management of cultural alienation,method of application,neglect of culture education in the practice of value neutrality and other issues.The root of these problems lies in the cultural dilemma of mental health education in colleges and universities,that is to say,ignoring the psychological health culture health education behind the emergence of culture leads to the lack of cultural dislocation.The former refers to the neglect of the cultural significance and value and other closely related components in the mental health education,which emphasizes the technology too much.The latter refers to the phenomenon of "acclimatized" based on western culture in the practice of mental health education.The multicultural trend of thought provides a good reference frame for solving these problems.The multicultural trend of thought identifies,judges and integrates different cultures with the attitude of tolerance,humility and prudence to promote and maintain the development of cultural diversity in the world.Under this framework,the existence of every culture is respected.It is allowed to find suitable mental health standards and values for specific culture in mental health education practice.Conversion in contemporary Chinese college mental health education research should adjust the original single culture originated from the western concept of mental health to both adapt to native culture of Chinese students and for multicultural development of ecological suitability of multi orientation of mental health in the world.To convert the original presupposition of western scientific psychology in the research object to the study object of new mind nature psychology,namely psychological life in native Chinese psychology thoughts.The original goal of psychological health education from policy documents should be adjusted to reflect the individual psychological growth of "unity of natural and social nature of humanity,accordance of individual orientation and social orientation".Meanwhile,putting the aim of psychological health education into structural design of people's whole life growing category to preset psychological growth as the goal of main dimension by vertical time and to preset the positive psychological quality around different growth stage as the goal with band dimension aim to form a stereoscopic shaft total goal.To change the original mental health education value neutral attitude and adjust it to respect the value of different cultural values.Further clarify the original internal factors of mental health education in colleges and universities,the particularity of the dual subjects of mental health education and redefine the object,media and evaluation mechanism of mental health education.The "growth pattern" of the practice of mental health education in colleges and universities under the framework of multiculturalism is constructed.Based on the above theoretical analysis and construction,this paper also carries out empirical and physical proof tests on the effectiveness of the research transformation of psychological health education in colleges and universities under the framework of multiculturalism.After the transformation of the concept,methods,objects,goals and other educational objects,educational curriculum and educational results are tested,to effectively promote the positive psychological quality of college students,and summed up the recommendations for further development and improvement.Multicultural framework is a new perspective of mental health education of colleges and universities.As a kind of method,perspective and way of thinking,awareness education into mental health education,the pluralistic culture will adjust direction of mental health education research,improve the education content,education method and be conducive to improve the mental health education and cultural adaptation the effectiveness of ecological suitability,and age.
