In recent years,more and more people pay attention to the mental health of college students. In our country,the government has issued a series of policies to strengthen the psychological health education of college students;Colleges and universities have established special agencies of mental health education, set up the corresponding education teachers, and mental health education courses and lectures; Many scholars and educators devoted to the theoretical research and empirical research of mental health education.They have accumulated rich experience.Knowledge of mental health can be spread in college students.Many students would take the initiative to seek help in the face of mental confusion.However, our country is in the period of social transition. The reform of the educational system, the development of economic globalization, the great progress of network technology, the accelerated pace of life and the more intense social competition affect the contemporary college students.They face greater academic pressure and employment pressure.Since2008, the post-90s entered the University. Most of them come from one-child families. Their self-care ability is very poor,Because of the lack of anti frustration ability, when they are in the face of various academic problems, interpersonal conflicts and the fierce competition pressure, they do not know how to deal with them. On the other hand,they are in the period of youth and their thoughts are not yet mature.In such a case various psychological problems or mental disorders often induced among them. Mental health is a dynamic development process and the study of mental health survey of post-90s college students are not so many. This paper is based on the investigation of mental health status of the post-90s college students to analyze the influence factors and put forward corresponding educational countermeasures, in order to promote the development of the mental health of the post-90s college students and provide better service for ideological and political education.This research adopts the way of combination of theoretical research and empirical investigation and is divided into four parts:The first part:introduction:illustrates the research background, research purpose and significance, research status, research design, research and innovation points,etc.The second part:Analysis of the post-90s college students’mental health status using Symptom Self-Assessment Scale (SCL-90),Essence Personal Questionnaire (EPQ),University Personality Inventory (UPI),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) to conduct a survey among10396freshmen from6universities in Hunan province in2012, and comparing with post-80s college students’ mental health, found that although the level of mental health of post-90s college students is higher than that’s of the post-80s college students, the post-90s college students’mental health status is not optimistic, mainly as follows:compulsion, interpersonal sensitivity, paranoid, anxiety and depression.The third part:Analysis of the factors affecting the mental health of post-90college students:mainly analyzing the external environment impact factors and internal personality factors.The fourth part:Countermeasures to strengthen and improve the psychological health education of post-90s college students:putting forward the organic combination of mental health education and ideological and political education, promoting the development of mental health education; optimizing the external environment to improve the mental health education effect; exploring new ways of mental health education, using new medias such as micro-blog and micro message, and opening positive psychology courses to promote the development of students’mental health.
