Multidimensional Study Of Interdisciplinary Knowledge Of China Sport Science

This paper analyzed the evolution of sport science knowledge from interdisciplinary perspective by using the method of literature review,historical analysis,SNA,bibliometric analysis.The study involved three dimension including history,knowledge distribution and literature content.In history dimension,historical analysis was used to study the sub-discipline of sport science evolution process and China sport science evolution process.In knowledge distribution dimension,evaluation index system of interdisciplinarity was established and used to evaluate the state of China sport science from 1980 to 2015.In the literature content dimension,Knowledge Mapping was used to show and analyze the research hotpots which included in the interdisciplinary field of sport science and other disciplines.The study conclude that:1.The evolution of sport science concludes three stage which are "problem","field","discipline".Cross-disciplines is the main growth way of sport science.The most primitive form of knowledge of sport science is the practical knowledge of sports skill or motor skill.In order to meet the scientific demand,sport science is intersected with medicine,pedagogy,sociology,psychology and so on,and then gradually evolved into a comprehensive knowledge system with many branches.2.China sport science has gone through four process which including learning Germany in Qing dynasty,studying the United States and Europe in Republic of China,cc-nprehensive imitating Soviet Union,all-round development after the reform and opening up.C ompared with western,the development of China sport science is nonlinear and fragmented,however,there are similarities in the origin of subjects,the evolution of disciplines,and the evolution of discipline structure.After the reform and opening up,China sport science gradually formed the sports theory system with Chinese characteristics,at the same time,the knowledge system is becoming more and more academic.3.In the 30 years since the reform and opening up,China sport science knowledge quantity and knowledge flow have achieved leap-forward growth,the change of the quantity of knowledge is nonlinear.It has experienced three stages of "recovery period","exponential growth period" and "logical growth period".The growth of knowledge flow is linear and presents a trend of continuous growth.Compared with other disciplines,sport science has a low status in the whole discipline system,and it is not very open.Most of the growth of the subject knowledge is the result of "self-reproduction" of the discipline.After the Beijing Olympic Games,these phenomena gradually improved,and the openness of the subjects gradually increased,and the sport science was gradually shifted from "epitaxial development" to "internal development".4.There are two trends in the intersection of sports and external disciplines in China.From the diversity of interdisciplinarity,and intersection of sport science discipline quantity becomes more and more,increasing the span of subject cross,and external discipline of sport science formed by the intersection of knowledge flow from chaos to ordering,the distribution of the cross relationship between disciplines gradually stable.From the perspective of interdisciplinary convergence,the intensity of interdisciplinary integration between sports and external disciplines is increasing,and the interdisciplinary network density is becoming higher and higher.5.After 30 years of reform and opening up,China sport science has experienced the"scientific revolution".The scientific revolution began in the early 1980s.After entering the 21st century,the "scientific revolution" came to an end,and sport science entered the new "normal science" stage.The flourishing of sports humanities and social sciences is the main cause of the "scientific revolution",and the "scientific revolution" of China.sport science is represented by "paradigm integration" rather than "paradigm shift".6.In development of modern science and convergent trend driven:and commensurability between disciplines.From the perspective of knowledge outflow and knowledge inflow,China sport science has presented same statue in interdisciplinary development trend.The relationship between sport science and applied science and soft science is getting closer and closer,and the relationship between pure science and hard science is becoming more and more distant,and the sport science is developing towards"flexible" and "practical".The biology medical science group,the pedagogical psychology science group,the economics science have become the most stable relation with the sport science.7.The largest number of cross-references in sports is the psychology of pedagogy group,the second is the economics group,the medical biology group,the information science group,the humanities group,the political science and management science group.There is "edge effect" exists in the research focus of interdisciplinary field of sport science.Although there are not many achievements in the study of sports and distant subjects,the research results are rich in richness and heterogeneity,and the number of research hotspots is relatively more.8.The Beijing Olympic Games has played a great role in promoting the intersection of sports and external disciplines.Whether it is high frequency keyword,high breakthrough rate keyword or cluster annotation word,the study of them shows that the Olympic Games are the most frequently used words,almost every field of interdisciplinary research involving the Olympic Games.With the help of the Beijing Olympic Games,The internal expansion of the sport science and the external penetration of the discipline has been strengthened,which further deepens the cross integration of sports and external disciplines.9.Weak theoretical research is the root cause of low status of sport science.Most of the interdisciplinary studies presents the phenomenon that the theories and methods of other disciplines permeating into the field of physical education,and sport science cannot contribute to the influential theory.The lack of theory and the lack of methods make sport science always play the role of knowledge feeders in the exchange of knowledge with other subjects,so that,sport science can't form effective knowledge feedback.The price paid for this is losing the speaking right of discipline system,resulting in the passive position of sport science when integrating with other disciplines.
