Under the background of global economic integration, international trade activities were extremely active, and once became the main driving force of economic development in various countries.Along with the development of these trade activities, the wage gap among regions, industries and industries in various countries, especially in developing countries, appears to varying degrees. This paper systematically studies the influencing factors, transmission mechanism and effect intensity of international trade activities on wage gap,and makes an empirical analysis on the effect of international trade activities on wage gap since China's accession to the World Trade Organization in the past 15 years from the regional,inter-industry and intra-industry levels, and draws relevant conclusions. On this basis, this paper puts forward some useful conclusions.Substantive countermeasures and suggestions. The full text is divided into eight chapters. In the first chapter,on the basis of discussing the background and significance of this topic, this paper reviews the relevant research status from both international and domestic perspectives, and expounds the research methods and technical routes,as well as the research focus, difficulties and innovations. The second chapter is the theoretical basis. This paper discusses and defines the concept, connotation and measure of wage inequality, and discusses the theoretical connotation of international trade on wage inequality from the perspective of neoclassical trade theory, new trade theory and FDI theory, and puts forward the foundation for the follow-up study. The third chapter analyzes the transmission of inequality of international trade from the theoretical point of view.Respectively, from the regional level,inter-industry level and industry level analysis. At the regional level,it mainly includes the transmission of factor endowments, the transmission of market potential and the function of government;at the inter-industry level,it mainly including industrial agglomeration conduction, technical bias of technological progress transmission, industry labor productivity transmission;at the industry level,it mainly includes the following aspects: Developed countries "outsourcing" conduction, the labor market segmentation conduction, the nominal tariff decline in transmission. The fourth chapter mainly describes the current situation of China's international trade and wage inequality from 2001 to 2015.An Analysis of the Status Quo and Trend of China 's Import and Export Trade and Wage Inequality and the Analysis of the Current Situation and Trend of Foreign Direct Investment and Wage Inequality.Mainly from the regional level,inter-industry level, and industry level,we conduct the the status quo and trend analysis of international trade and wage inequality. The fifth chapter is the empirical analysis of Regional Wage Gap in international trade and trade liberalization.Based on panel data of 30 provincial administrative regions in China, this paper makes an empirical analysis of the effect of international trade activities such as import trade, export trade and foreign direct investment on the wage gap, selects the international trade data from 2001 to 2015,and finds that import trade has the greatest impact on the wage gap of 30 provincial administrative regions in China, followed by export trade, and finally foreign direct investment. On this basis, from the perspective of trade liberalization, the wage level among regions is analyzed. The decline of regional trade barriers has improved the degree of regional market liberalization, effectively allocated resources, and thus the regional wage level has been improved.Chapter 6 is an empirical analysis of wage gap between industries in the context of international trade and trade liberalization.Selecting 10 industries in the national economic classification,we find that the effect of import trade, export trade and foreign direct investment on the wage gap of 10 industries decreases in turn.On this basis,we analyze the impact of trade liberalization on inter-industry wage level. The decline of trade barriers in industries increases the degree of market liberalization of industries, and the wage level of industries has been improved.Chapter 7 analyzes the impact of China's international trade on the level of wage equality in China's industry.Based on the panel evidence in manufacturing industry, this paper makes an in-depth study on it.The results show that foreign direct investment and import trade have a strong role in widening the wage gap in the manufacturing industry, while export trade has a certain role in narrowing the wage gap in the manufacturing industry. On this basis, the paper studies the impact of intermediate product imports on the wage gap in the manufacturing industry and finds that intermediate product imports significantly expand the wage gap in the manufacturing industry.Chapter 8 is the conclusion, policy suggestions and insufficient research.Firstly, the paper summarizes the whole paper, and then puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from five aspects: government regulation, optimizing trade structure, guiding foreign investment, improving technological progress and increasing investment in education. Finally, the research deficiencies and future research prospects.
