In recent years,all kinds of social ideological trends have encountered and intermingled with each other at home and abroad.As a result,the crash of values has become increasingly intensive,as well as the belief crisis and ethical dilemma.There exists from time to time dishonest and immoral behavior in some social domains.Therefore,it is a rather urgent subject to reinforce the establishment of mordern moral education as nowadays moral problems stick out and the core values of socialism are being challenged.It has been pointed out in the report presented by President Xi in the 19th session of national congress of the communist party of China that:"Cultural confidence represents a fundamental and profound force that sustains the development of the country and a nation." Today,we must enforce the establishment of moral education basing on the excellent traditional culture bred in the five thousand years of Chinese history.Former president Mao once said:"We need to carefully summarize and inherit the precious culture from Confucius to Sun Yat-sen." As a prestigious statesman,revolutionist and theorist,Sun Yat-sen comes up with many progressive propositions and ideas.It is of great theoretical and practical value to analyze and excavate his ideas of moral education.Adopting mainly the literature research method and secondarily historical analysis,comparative analysis,this thesis focuses on Sun Yat-sen's moral education ideology.Through the research of Sun Yat-sen's literature and domestic and foreign research situation as well,it clearly discusses and analyzes the historical background of his ideas and based on that explains how his ideas formed and developed and discusses the main contents of Sun Yat-sen's moral education ideology,including the theory of aspiration,the gist of his ideology;the theory of inspiring patriotism,the core;the theory of moral innovation,the quintessence;the theory of transforming individual mind,the pursuit;and the theory of group consciousness,the new perspective.It aims at summarizing the basic characteristics of Sun Yat-sen's moral education thought,expounding the far-reaching influence of Sun Yat-sen's moral education thought and analyzing the limitations of Sun Yat-sen's moral education thought.Finally,combined with the current reality of moral education construction,the contemporary value of Sun Yat-sen's moral education thought is clarified.The contemporary value of the theory of aspiration is to establish a lofty aspiration,to study with aspiration coming first,to set aspiration in accordance with national conditions,to be determined to make great achievements and to be determined to focus on practice;the contemporary value of the inspiring patriotism includes cultivating patriotism,carrying forward feelings of home and country,cultivating patriotic talents and uniting patriotic forces;when it comes to the contemporary value of moral innovation,it includes promoting "filial loyalty,love,faith and peace" and absorbing "equality,fraternity and mutual aid";the contemporary value of transforming individual mind is fostering the "interest","independence",the heart of"adventure",the spirit of "optimism" and "toughness","courage" and "resolution";the contemporary value of the theory of group consciousness is to establish a "collective spirit"and to abide by " behaving ethically" and "public regulation".Currently,Sun's moral educational thought has not yet been out of date.It still has important practical value under the circumstance that every Chinese is dedicated to realizing the Chinese Dream of great Chinese nation rejuvenation.
