Patriotism is the most basic value norm and moral requirement of citizens.Cultivating citizens with rational patriotic qualities is the responsibility of patriotism education in today's school.Looking back at the fact that the patriotic concept is weak and all kinds of perceptual and blind patriotic behaviors have sounded the alarm for our school's patriotic education.The quality of patriotism as a virtue,its formation and development is a complex process,with the stage of development and internal laws,which determines that the school patriotic education must be carried out in stages and at different levels.It is of theoretical and practical significance to explore the development level of individual patriotic qualities,and on this basis to propose improvement strategies for school patriotic education.This article takes individual patriotism as the starting point and conducts research in three parts.The first part is the study of the connotation of patriotism,which is intended to have a full and scientific understanding of "patriotism".The second part is the research on the formation and development mechanism of individual patriotism quality,which intends to analyze the connotation,structure and formation process of individual patriotism quality from the perspective of psychology.The formation of individual patriotism quality includes an internalization mechanism and externalization mechanism.The individual as a "social person" transforms a certain social consciousness into individual patriotic consciousness under the influence of patriotism education,social public opinion and traditional customs.This is the internalization mechanism of the formation of individual patriotism qualities;The practice of patriotism is the externalization mechanism formed by the quality ofindividual patriotism.The internalization operation process and the externalization operation process are not isolated movements.The two are interconnected,mutually promoted,and inseparable,and work together on the entire process of the formation and development of individual patriotic qualities.Discussing the formation and development mechanism of individual patriotism quality is not only the need to reveal the law of individual patriotism quality development,but also the need to develop school patriotism education and improve its effectiveness.The third part is a four-level analysis of the development of individual patriotism.As a moral quality,individual patriotism quality must follow the stage and general law of individual moral development.Based on the law of individual moral development,combined with patriotism's own connotation and moral logic,the analysis shows that the quality of individual patriotism has a development stage from low to high,that is,no patriotism-plain patriotism-rational patriotism-international At the same time,contains six stages of development.It also presents the law of development from closed and narrow to open and inclusive,from perceptual identification to rational thinking,from body instinct to conscious consciousness.The fourth part is the exploration of school patriotism education improvement strategy.At present,our country 's school patriotism education has formed a relatively complete education system,but various problems still occur in the implementation process.The main reason is that the implementation of the students 'psychological development laws has been ignored.School patriotism education should be based on the development level of students 'moral cognition and thinking ability,the purpose is to promote the formation and development of students' patriotism quality.Based on the development stages and development laws of individual patriotism,the purpose of school patriotism education is to encourage each individual to form a corresponding level of patriotism with the development of cognition and thinking ability.Then,the school's patriotism education must be carried out in stages and at different levels,starting from the characteristics of the stage of individual patriotism quality development.Based on the second part of the development level and development law of individual patriotism,from the perspective of psychology,the improvement strategy of school patriotism education is proposed,in order to provide a theoretical reference for the current school patriotism education.
