On March 18,2019,President Xi Jinping presided over the symposium of teachers of the ideological and political theory course and delivered an important speech,which has been the first major conference focused on a kind of course held by the Communist Party of China in the past 100 years.The Party Central Committee attaches great importance to the ideological and political theory course,which not only enhances the discipline self-confidence and professional self-confidence of ideological and political theory teachers,but also puts forward higher requirements for them.The ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities is the major way of Marxist theoretical education and ideological and political education for college students.In the new era,to consolidate its major position,we must implement the spirit of the important speech of President Xi Jinping,taking measures to promote the reform and innovation of the ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities.The teaching methods of ideological and political theory course are necessary and important for realizing the teaching objectives and influencing the teaching effects.The comprehensive systematic study on the teaching methods of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities is the key link and important content to promote the reform and innovation of the course,and it is also the inevitable choice to promote the scientific teaching methods of ideological and political theory course.This dissertation explores the basic theory of the teaching methods of ideological and political theory course,reviews the history of the development of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities for nearly 70 years and analyzes the ways of applying and optimizing teaching methods from the three-dimensional perspective of content,subject and object.At the same time,the dissertation also clarifies the content and path of the reform and innovation of the teaching methods of the course in the new era and the rational reflection on the teaching methods of the course.This is the basic idea and the main steps of this dissertation.Specifically,it is divided into four logical sections to research: Firstly,it is about what the teaching method of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities is and what the characteristics and functions are.The second part is about what the basis for studying the development of teaching methods of the course is.Thirdly,it is necessary to study how to use and optimize the teaching methods of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities to promote its reform and innovation.Fourthly,it rationally puts forward the prospect and scheme for the teaching methods of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities.These four aspects of the problem are progressively and organically linked.The details are as follows:First,it is the basic theory of the teaching methods of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities,which includes the definition of basic concepts such as college ideological and political theory course,teaching methods,and college ideological and political theory teaching methods.It analyzes the characteristics of college ideological and political theory course teaching methods,in order to grasp the teaching methods and the essence of the course at a deeper level,while explaining the important value and function of teaching methods.This is what the first chapter of this article is about.Second,it is the historical process of the development of teaching methods in ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities.From the perspective of historical development,this paper systematically combs and analyzes the evolution of the teaching methods of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities.Because the development of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities is always accompanied by the exploration of the teaching methods of the course,the history of the development of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities,the individual level of teachers at the national level,school level and ideological and political theory course are taken in to consideration.Based on the cognition,grasp and application history of teaching methods,this dissertation reviews the development of teaching methods of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities.On this basis,it summarizes the characteristics of the development of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities for nearly 70 years.The achievements and accumulated experience in the development of teaching methods are summarized,and the development trend is forecast to determine the application and optimization of the teaching methods of the ideological and political theory course.This is the main idea of the second chapter.From a logical point of view,it has the role of linking up and down.Third,it is about the specific content of the research on the teaching methods of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities.This part systematically and comprehensively discusses the specific content of the teaching method of ideological and political theory course in colleges from dynamic development and research and the perspective of static theoretical interpretation.It is the basic content of the third and fourth chapters of this dissertation.The third chapter is the reform and innovation of the teaching methods of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities.Leaving the study of the teaching methods reform and innovation theory,our researches on teaching methods are static,solid,and rigid.When the external environment and conditions change and the students present new characteristics of thinking and behaviors,with the “eight unifications” as the methodological guidance,the teaching methods must be advanced with the time to promote the teaching methods "Change based on development,Progress based on time,Innovation based on situation." The forth chapter is the application and optimization of the teaching methods of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities.This chapter is one of the core chapters of the entire dissertation and one of the main research innovations.The traditional teaching methods have taken the curriculum,the first classroom and the second classroom or the basic and expansion methods as a criterion of classification,which has been broken through by this dissertation to innovatively discuss from the perspectives of teaching content,teaching subjects and teaching objects.How can the teaching methods in the teaching of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities be scientifically applied and optimized? How can various methods be comprehensively applied according to the actual situations of teaching? And how can the teaching effectiveness of ideological and political theory course be continuously improved? In the perspective of teaching content,it mainly discusses the use of multimedia teaching methods,thematic teaching methods and research-based teaching methods;heuristic teaching method,interactive discussion teaching method and two psychological methods of teaching ideological and political theory teaching with students' personal growth and talents;situational teaching method and suggestive teaching method;the method of practical teaching of ideological and political theory course.From the perspective of the subject of teaching,the application and optimization of teaching methods are discussed from the perspective of the particularity of the overall team of ideological and political theory teachers and the individual particularity of the teachers of ideological and political theory.From the perspective of teaching objects,it is pointed out that the teaching of ideological and political theory should adhere to the student-centered teaching philosophy and analyze the characteristics and needs of contemporary college students,and then discuss the classification teaching methods which can highlight the professional characteristics of students.Fourth,it is about the development of teaching methods of ideological and political theory in colleges.This part is also an innovation point of this dissertation.This section explores the relevant content of establishing a scientific ideological and political theory course teaching concept from a certain theoretical height,and further studies the ideological and political theory teaching method from the perspectives of improving teaching methods by linking with real problems and focusing on teaching effects.In-depth thinking and rational interpretation have promoted the improvement of rational thinking in the teaching method of ideological and political theory in a certain sense.This is what Chapter 5 is about.
