Ideological and political education in College aims at training qualified socialist builders and successors,which is an important issue related to the development of the country.Since the 18th CPC National Congress,the Party and the state have focused on the development of ideological and political work in College,put forward a series of new ideas and new strategies,ideological and political education in College have made periodic progress.However,there are still some problems in ideological and political education in universities.On the one hand,the highly theoretical content of ideological and political education cannot fully stimulate students' interest in learning;On the other hand,the mixed information of the Internet age directly impacts the teaching effect of ideological and political education.Therefore,the ideological and political education in universities needs to combine with the reality of social development,follow the law of education and teaching,and actively explore the methods of ideological and political education that are more suitable for contemporary college students.Case teaching method is a common teaching method in ideological and political teaching.Social hot issues can not only stimulate students'interest in learning,but also help students to make correct judgments in mixed social information,especially widely used in Ideological and political courses.However,as there are some problems in the selection and application of social hot spots,there is the problem of improper selection of social hot spot cases in the stage of teaching design.In the stage of teaching implementation,there are some problems,such as improper teachers guidance and students "hitchhiking" in the analysis and discussion of the classroom,and in the stage of teaching evaluation,some teachers and students ignore the question of reflectionIn view of these problems,the hot spots case teaching method can be optimized from two aspects.On the one hand,the application of social hot case teaching method needs to follow the principle of combination of orientation and education,the principle of combination of pertinence and moderation,the principle of combination of authenticity and timeliness,and the principle of combination of dominance and theme.On the other hand,the hot spots case teaching method can be optimized from the aspects of establishing and perfecting the resource base of social hot-spot cases,changing the teacher role and improving the comprehensive quality,and changing the students concept.
