In recent years,with the rapid development of China's economy,the industrial structure of various regions has been escalating,in general,China has entered the middle and late stage of industrialization,but the development of various regions is uneven,some areas such as Beijing,Shanghai,Tianjin,and Jiangsu have entered the post-industrialization phase,and most of the western region has just entered the middle of industrialization.Although the speed of industrial structure upgrading in various regions is relatively fast,the industrial structure upgrade is not sufficient,the quality of industrial structure upgrading in most areas is not high.Both theoretical and practical studies show that innovation is an important factor to promote the upgrading of industrial structure,and the innovation is closely related to the upgrading of industrial structure,often in areas with strong innovation ability,the quality of industrial structure upgrading is also better,therefore,the main reason why the quality of industrial structure upgrading in most parts of China is not high,or regional innovation ability does not match the requirements of industrial structure upgrading.So how exactly does innovation affect the upgrading of industrial structure? Under the realistic background of unbalanced development in various regions of our country,what innovative models should different regions choose to promote the upgrading of industrial structure?In order to answer the above questions,this paper from the perspective of the impact of innovation on the upgrading of industrial structure,through the theory and practice of two aspects,in-depth analysis of the impact of innovation on the upgrading of industrial structure.First of all,this paper starts with the relevant literature and theoretical research on innovation and industrial structure upgrading and constructs a multi-sector growth model based on the endogenous growth theory of Schumpeter model,which theoretically depicts the internal logical connection between innovation and industrial structure upgrading.Secondly,this paper analyzes the present situation of innovation development level and industrial structure upgrading in various regions of China,summarizes the characteristics of innovation development and industrialstructure upgrading in various regions of China,and puts forward the problems faced by the upgrading of China's industrial structure,and thirdly,whether it has any influence on the upgrading of China's industrial structure from innovation,how to influence it,and different innovation modes affect the matching of industrial structure upgrading to carry out empirical analysis,in order to provide empirical basis for the core issues to be solved in this paper,finally,summarize the full text,and according to the conclusion of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,put forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the upgrading of industrial structure in various regions of China.The main conclusions of theoretical research and empirical analysis in this paper are as follows:Firstly,the results of theoretical analysis show that innovation has an important impact on the upgrading of industrial structure.The upgrading of industrial structure depends on the different rate of innovation level between industries and the substitution relationship of final industry products.When the end products between industries are represented as alternative relationships,the share of labour between industries and the growth rate of innovation between industries change in the same direction,that is,the labour force will shift to the higher growth rate of the industry,innovation on the labour force has a "absorption effect",and ultimately make the innovation growth rate of the sector continues to grow,Sectors with low growth rates of innovation are shrinking,sectors with fast innovation are replacing slow sectors,and industrial structures are being upgraded;When the final products between industries are complementary,the inter-industry share of labour and the growth rate of innovation between industries shift in reverse direction,that is,the labour force will move to industries with slower growth rates of innovation,and innovation to the labor force " Extrusion effect ",at this time innovation can promote the upgrading of industrial structure can not be determined,if there is a mechanism suitable for innovation spillover,in the process of complementary products industry cooperation,the innovation speed of the sector's knowledge will be to the slow pace of innovationdepartments overflow,and ultimately advanced drive backward,the entire industry technology level,industrial structure has been upgraded." If innovation does not overflow,the industrial structure may enter a relatively stable state.Secondly,the analysis of the present situation of innovation development and industrial structure upgrading in various regions of China shows that,first of all,innovation input and output in various regions are increasing year by day,but the output quality is not high,and the output is mainly concentrated in developed regions.From the point of view of the comprehensive innovation ability of each region,the development of regional comprehensive innovation ability is unbalanced,showing the "gradient distribution" state of decreasing from east to west,and secondly,the upgrading of industrial structure in various regions is "unbalanced" and "inadequate".Although the industrial structure has evolved to the middle and late stage of industrialization,there are obvious differences between regions,and the quality of industrial structure upgrading in most areas needs to be improved.Thirdly,from the analysis of the spatial effect of two-stage innovation on the upgrading of industrial structure,it can be seen that both of them have significant spatial correlation effects.R&D innovation and product innovation are important reasons to promote the upgrading of industrial structure,but they have different effects on the upgrading of industrial structure.The promotion of R&D innovation on industrial structure upgrading will gradually play a role with the accumulation of R&D innovation,that is,when the level of R&D innovation is low,it has no significant impact on industrial structure upgrading,only when R&D innovation has accumulated to a certain extent can it promote industrial structure upgrading;the role of product innovation on industrial structure upgrading is mainly embodied in product innovation promotion.The upgrading of industrial structure has been achieved.Therefore,in the process of promoting industrial structure upgrading through innovation,all regions should attach equal importance to R&D innovation and product innovation.In the period of low level of economic development,we can promote the upgrading of regional industrial structure and promote economicdevelopment through technology introduction and technology imitation,and when the economic development has accumulated to a certain level,we can choose the strategy of emphasizing both R&D innovation and product innovation,and promote the upgrading of industrial structure through independent innovation.Fourthly,The matching analysis of different innovation modes to promote the upgrading of industrial structure shows that(1)when the actual per capita GDP of a region(based on 2000 years)is less than 62,570 yuan,independent innovation and imitation innovation have a significant role in promoting the upgrading of industrial structure,but imitation innovation is greater than independent innovation,when the real per capita GDP of the region exceeds 62,570 yuan,the contribution of independent innovation to industrial structure upgrading begins to be significantly greater than imitation innovation.(2)in an area where the level of education per capita is less than 9.916 years,imitation innovation plays a major role in promoting the upgrading of industrial structure,and when the per capita education level of the region exceeds the threshold of 9.916 years,the promotion of model innovation to the upgrading of industrial structure is no longer significant,and independent innovation plays a major role in promoting the upgrading of industrial structure.(3)When the marketization level of a region is less than 11.71,independent innovation and imitation innovation have a significant effect on the upgrading of industrial structure,but the role of imitation innovation is greater than independent innovation,and when the level of regional marketization exceeds 11.71,the promotion of independent innovation to the upgrading of industrial structure is obviously improved,while the promotion of imitation innovation to the upgrading of industrial structure is reduced Low.(4)combined the above results,at the same time across three thresholds,suitable for the use of independent innovation model to promote the upgrading of industrial structure in the regions of Beijing,Tianjin,Shanghai,Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Guangdong six regions.
