The "COVID" at the beginning of the new year of 2020 has caused a huge impact on the Chinese economy.Due to its "new birth weakness" and "small but weak" characteristics,the survival and development of new ventures also have greater uncertainty.Studies have shown that more than 70% of small and medium-sized enterprises are unable to support three months because the epidemic has affected the resumption of work and production.The more difficult the times,the more important the leaders of the new ventures as the "important helmsmen" and "key figures" of the survival and development of the new ventures,the more they must reflect "positive".Positive leadership,as a new direction of leadership research,plays an important role in actively responding to the dynamic environment of new enterprises and guiding team members to generate positive emotions and behaviors.However,research on positive leadership is still scarce(Gladis,2013)and is confusing with other definitions of leadership concepts.At the same time,existing research focuses more on the results and mechanisms of the impact of positive leadership on the organizational and individual levels(Malinga et al.,2019),research on the complex relationship between variables at the team level has not been given enough attention,and questions such as how positive leadership is applied to entrepreneurial scenarios have not been answered.Therefore,studying the new venture's positive leadership is a cutting-edge scientific issue with theoretical and practical significance.It can not only enrich the active leadership research from the new level of the team,but also expand the new development of positive leadership in the entrepreneurial context.Team creativity is an important aspect of team outcomes that may be affected by the positive leadership of a new ventures.Team creativity is the source of new entrepreneurial activity and the key to building a competitive advantage,which has been proven in the practice of most successful startups(Watson,1995).For example,the academic and entrepreneurial team of Cambrian Technology adheres to the spirit of openness and creativity.Since its establishment in 2016,it has quickly grown into the first unicorn company in the global artificial intelligence chip field.Leveraging the creativity of its new enterprise team and creatively combining technological innovation with market demand,it has grown into China's largest emerging artificial intelligence company in three years.Although the success paths of these outstanding new venture teams are different,their common point is that their entrepreneurial process highlights the huge role of team "creation".Existing research finds that leadership styles such as change leadership and shared leadership can have an impact on team creativity(Zhu Xiumei et al.,2015;Liu Xuemei and Liu Yan,2019),and active leadership as the type of leadership associated with these leadership,May also be an important factor in team creativity.However,the key issue of how active leadership affects team creativity is still not very clear.There is huge research space and value.Based on this,this paper proposes and studies the role of the new venture's positive leadership in explaining and predicting team creativity,and explores the influence mechanism between the two.Cognitive and emotional states of team members are important factors affecting team creation(Tsai et al.,2012;Zhang Ningjun et al.,2019).Therefore,this paper reveals the mechanism of the new venture's positive leadership on team creativity through team cognition and team emotion.The path effects of team psychological safety,team promotion orientation and team entrepreneurial passion were examined respectively.At the same time,team reflexivity behavior can effectively avoid problems such as "team thinking" caused by excessive internal consistency during team creation,which plays an important role in improving team creativity.Therefore,this paper builds a relationship model between the new venture's positive leadership,team psychological security,team promotion orientation,team entrepreneurial passion,team reflexivity,and team creativity.Designed to reveal the mediating role of team psychological safety,team promotion orientation and team entrepreneurial passion,and the moderating role of team reflexivity on the variables,this paper mainly include the following aspects:First,based on summarizing related research at home and abroad,this paper explores in depth the relevant theories and variables in the mechanism of the influence of positive leadership on team creativity.In the theory review section,this paper sorts out social cognitive theory,cognitive-affective processing system theory,and self-determination theory.At the same time,this paper carries out systematic review related to positive leadership,team psychological safety,team orientation,team entrepreneurial passion,team reflexivity,and team creativity to lay the theoretical foundation for hypothesis development and model construction.Secondly,based on case studies and literature analysis,this paper clearly defines positive leadership,team psychological safety,team promotion orientation,team entrepreneurial passion,team reflexivity,and team creativity.Based on theoretical logic and case analysis,the theoretical model of the influence of leadership on team creativity is constructed.This paper puts forward 17 research hypotheses,and reveal the impact of positive leadership of new enterprises on team creativity,the mediating role of team psychological safety,team promotion orientation,team entrepreneurial passion.And then,this paper reveals the continuous mediating role of team psychological safety and team entrepreneurial passion,team promotion orientation and team entrepreneurial passion between active leadership and team creativity.And the moderating role of team reflexivity on team psychological safety and team creativity,team entrepreneurial passion and team creativity,team promotion orientation and team creativity are revealed deeply.Thirdly,this paper uses questionnaire survey method,cooperates with observation method and interview method,based on the existing mature measurement scales of each variable,observes the basic principles and requirements of the questionnaire design,optimizes the content of the questionnaire design,and collects information from Changchun Large sample survey data of 95 new enterprises in Beijing,Baishan,Jinan,Qingdao and Beijing,using SPSS24.0 and MPLUS7.4 software to perform sample descriptive statistics,confirmatory factor analysis,and aggregation analysis to check the quality of the data,and use the structural equation model to test the research hypothesis proposed in this paper and analyze the results.The results show that 16 of 17 hypotheses are supported by the data,and only 1 hypothesis is not supported by the data.Fourth,based on the results of empirical tests,this article further discusses and analyzes,analyzes the reasons for valid hypotheses and the possible reasons behind the not valid hypothesis,summarizes the relevant conclusions,finds the research innovation points,and explores the practice of corporate practice significance,and put forward the shortcomings of the research and future research prospects.The purpose of this paper is to explore the mechanism of the positive leadership of new enterprises on team creativity in dynamic situations from a cognitive and emotional perspective.The main innovations and theoretical contributions are as follows:First,this paper enriches active leadership research,extends positive leadership research to the team level and the field of entrepreneurship,and responds to Malinga et al.(2019)'s call to strengthen research on positive leadership.Based on social cognition theory,cognitive-affective processing system theory,and self-determination theory,a model of the influence of positive leadership of the new venture on team creativity was established,confirming that positive leadership of enterprises has a positive impact on team creativity in the entrepreneurial context.Extending the study of the effectiveness of positive leadership to the team level of new companies,and interpreting the impact of the new venture's positive leadership on team creativity from the team level,is of great significance to the study of expanding team creativity from a new level and perspective.Secondly,this paper constructs the overall logic between all research variables with cognitive affective processing system theory,analyzes the internal mechanism between key research variables with social cognitive theory and self-determination theory,fully reveals the positive leadership of new ventures and impact mechanism on team creativity.On the one hand,this paper validates the multiple mediating effects of team psychological safety,team promotion orientation,and team entrepreneurial passion on the new venture's positive leadership and team creativity through social cognitive theory and self-determination theory.Positive leadership increases the positive psychological resources of team members through team psychological safety,increases the motivation of team members through team promotion focus,and enhances team members' work emotions through team entrepreneurial passion,so positive leadership has a positive impact on team creativity.On the other hand,guided by the cognitive-affective processing system theory,the effectiveness of the process of "positive event-cognitive unit-emotion unit-behavior choice" in explaining the chain mediation of positive leadership and team creativity in new ventures has been verified.The changes in team psychological safety and team promotion orientation reflect the role of team members 'cognitive units,and team entrepreneurial passion reflects the fluctuations of team members' emotional units.And then the impact mechanism of the new venture's positive leadership on team creativity is more fully explained from the two aspects of the internal mechanism of the variables and from two sub-processes of "team cognition" and "team emotion",which expands the research on the complex intermediary effects between the positive leadership and team creativity of new ventures.Finally,this research also contributes to the field of team reflexivity,revealing the conditions under which team reflexivity can promote team creativity more effectively,and reflects the cognitive and emotion-driven process of team information processing.This paper links this team process with team emotions and motivations,and finds that team reflexivity positively regulates team entrepreneurial passion and team creativity,team promotion orientation,and team creativity,which helps to understand the mechanism of team reflection and its boundaries more precisely.
