| The status of a nation and country goes hand in hand with the status of its technology,the improvement of technological level is inseparable from innovation.At present,there is still big disparity between our innovation capacity and that of developed countries,and our independent technological innovation in technology still has a long way to go.In view of the problems existing in China’s technological innovation system,the government work report proposes to further strengthen the leading role of enterprises in innovation to build momentum for high-quality development.Creativity is one of the most important and universal human activities,which is unique to human being.It is the psychological quality of making use of certain conditions to produce products that are novel,unique,feasible and applicable,and is the source of innovation.In the meantime,with the development of economy and enterprise organization form,team gradually becomes the main position of enterprise innovation,and team creativity has also received more and more attention.A team is made up of members,and each member’s shared perception and belief about the team they belong to,namely team mindset,will affect the whole team.Previous studies have researched the influence mechanism of creative team mindset on individual creativity,but the influence of team creativity remains to be explored.Creativity is a collective process that cannot be separated from society and groups,and it should play a greater role in teams.The purpose of this study is to explore the mechanism and path of the influence of creative team mindset on team creativity,which has important theoretical and practical significance.This study is conducive to acquire a better understanding of the relationship between mindset and creativity,and to further explore the way to stimulate and enhance creativity in teams.This study is divided into three parts,using the combination of questionnaire and experimental method to explore the influence of creative team mindset on team creativity.Study 1: Through a questionnaire survey of 432 company employees,this study investigated the influence of creative team mindset on team creativity and the role of team identity,to establish a preliminary theoretical model.Using SPSS to analyze the data by common method bias test,correlation analysis,regression analysis and mediation effect test.Results show that there are significant correlations among creative team mindset,team creativity and team identity,creative team mindset positively influences team identity and team creativity,team identity positively influences team creativity,and creative team mindset influences team creativity through the mediating effect of team identity.Study 2: The second study is divided into the exploration of experiment and formal experiment.In the first part,102 questionnaires were distributed to explore the manipulation of creative team mindset through scenario simulation.The results show that scenario simulation material is an effective way to manipulate creative team mindset.In the formal experiment,48 college students were selected as subjects.A single-factor inter subject experiment was designed to explore the manipulation of creative team mindset in the laboratory,verify the influence of creative team mindset on team creativity and the mediation role of team identity by using creative task and lay a foundation for subsequent experiments.The independent variables are different creative team mindset operating conditions(high / low),and the dependent variable is team creativity.The experimental results verify the feasibility of manipulating creative team mindset through scenario simulation and the conclusion of study 1 about the relationship among creative team mindset,team creativity and team identity.Study 3: The third study adopted a two-factor inter subject experiment design,and 160 college students were enrolled in the study.By manipulating cognitive style and creative team mindset,this study aims to explore the influence path of creative team mindset on team creativity,perfect the theoretical model and search the way to enhance team creativity.Participants were divided into field independent group and field dependent group through recruitment questionnaire,and the two groups were randomly assigned to high or low creative team mindset operating conditions respectively,in which different situation simulation materials were used.The results show that creative team mindset can influence team creativity through the chain mediation of team identity and team psychological safety.In the chain mediation model,the direct effect of creative team mindset on team creativity is significant,but neither of the two single pathways is significant.Besides,cognitive style moderates both the effect of creative team mindset on team identity and the effect of team identity on team psychological safety.Specifically,the effect of field-independent individual is more significant than that of field-dependent individual.Although this study has made some new progress and findings,there are still some shortages,which can be improved in the future research.Firstly,the source of subjects in study 2 and 3 are limited to college students,which may affect the ecological validity.Future studies can enrich the subject group to improve the extensibility of research results.Secondly,the situational simulation materials in the experiment may have an impact on other variables,and the experiment team is built by experimenter temporarily.Future study can enhance the pertinence of materials and select real teams to conduct experiment.Thirdly,the composition and process of team creativity has not been measured.Other tasks or paradigms can be selected for further exploration in the future.Finally,longitudinal research can be used to explore the relationship between creative team mindset and team creativity. |
