This Record of Study details the author's motivation for pursuing the Doctor of Engineering degree, the training received during the academic preparation for the degree, the successes of the professional internship, the training received during the professional internship, and the author's opinions on areas for personal improvement and future objectives. The record focuses on the technical, administrative, and managerial growth the author expected and received from this program. The record includes information regarding the tasks and assignments completed during the professional internship and the author's impact on his project teams.; The author approached the Doctor of Engineering Program with the clear objective of improving his management and technical capabilities so that he could lead project teams, offices, and eventually a prominent civil/environmental engineering firm. This report demonstrates the degree to which the author has grown during the program and the skills that have been developed to enable him to complete these managerial career goals.
