Its first classes were at Canton Timken Vocational High School during the 1961-1962 academic year. In 1961, 46 males enrolled in two technologies: mechanical and electrical engineering technology. In 1983, the college operated as a fully accredited, Associate Degree granting technical college chartered by the Ohio Board of Regents. In 1983, the college had an enrollment of 3500 male and female students with 21 technologies under four divisions. The four divisions were Engineering, Business, Allied Health, and Public Service. |
