The Anti-Japanese War Of Poetry - A Study On The Ecology Of Poetry Creation In The Rear Area Of Southwest China

Southwest poetry,under the background of Anti-Japanese War,is an important stage of the development of Chinese modern new poetry.It inherits the New Culture Movement and the modern new poetry.At the same time,it depicts a deeper and more extensive reality in China.Because of the Nationwide War of Resistance against Japan and the wish of pursuing national independence and liberation,southwest poetry bears the mission of the Anti-Japanese,so it promotes the new poetry in the revolution,the enlightenment and art.And also makes modern new poetry art more mature.In the current related academic research,although the southwest poetry,which is regarded as Chinese modern poetry,has been explored by multiple perspectives,yet "southwest poetry",as a whole category of research,hasn't be paid much attention.Therefore,the idea of ecological research of poetry creation in the southwest is come up with.In particular,it means doing research about southwest ecological poetry system through the following elements,which include poet,poetry creation and poetry dissemination,under the background southeast poetry history.This paper Mainly have five parts:In the first chapter,I discuss the ecological generation during the war and the appearance of new poetry in southwest.The outbreak of Anti-Japanese War,with the core city of Chongqing in southwest,makes the Kuomintang-Communist cooperation and consistent anti-Japanese political background.Chongqing,due to its special political,military status,has unique advantages on the economy,education,culture,literature resources.It broke a situation that Beijing and Shanghai are the centers of modern literature ecology formed by the May 4th Movement,and it also reconstructed the ecological environment,making the southwest poetry and the southwest became significant to the history of modern Chinese literature and modern Chinese.Writers developed a more in-depth understanding and experience about reality,so that helps people formed a new understanding of poetry's function in literature development,and also promotes the discussion and change of the poetry in the aspects of creation idea,style of art.In the second chapter,I discuss the subject ecology of poetry in war and smoke.War is the extreme form of politics.The Anti-Japanese War,as a special background,was not only a part of pain of departure from poets' homeland,but also an important experience in poets' life.As a result,it became the most valuable resource in the development of Chinese modern new poetry.In the early period of war time,poets were scattered.After 1938,many poets were gathered in southwest.The themes of national and individual existed in poetry creation.All of these factors contributed to the multiple changes of poetry art,and even established the tone of the new poetry---revolutionary,collectivistic,realistic.In the third chapter,I discuss the acceptance and transmission of poetry.Due to the fall of homeland and poets' togethering in southwest,under the appeal of the national Anti-Japanese War,poets' groups were more diversified.At that time,the advocation of "literature and art popularization" since the May 4th was spread in mass,with the attitude of "bent" in front of the people at the bottom of society.In a way,it can be seen as intellectuals' "revolution" against intellectual monopoly.And it developed poetry reading,street poetry and other forms of poetry transmission in the Anti-Japanese War.Publishing and media industry,in the war time,had a closer connection with many Anti-Japanese national organizations and their activities.These robustly improved the ecological environment of the poetry creation and poetry creation.In the fourth chapter,I discuss the ecological adaptation of poetry ontology.Due to the development of literature and art in the war time and the change of literature ecology,the new poetry in southwest inherited the tradition of "verse liberation".Free verse poetry had some new forms,such as reciting poems,street poems,narrative poems,vernacular poems.In the new era of the ecological environment,the change of the poems style is a result of poets' struggle during Anti-Japanese War and their efforts of obtaining individual living space.It changed the trend of new poetry development,and also activated the development of new poetry.In the fifth chapter,I discuss the changes of new poetry creation in war time.Poetry at that time depicted two basic contradiction throughout the development of China's modern poetry---"western influence and national tradition" and "enlightenment and poetry ontology ",and that made the development of new poetry complex and tortuous.The Comprehensive Anti-Japanese War forced poets left the "top groups" for the mass and the era of China itself.It made poetry concept,poetry view,poetry and art creation closer to Chinese reality and Chinese modernity context of the self.The ecology of poetry creation in war time has broadened the space of modern Chinese new poetry.After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War,the new poetry had some "diseases" in form,language,contents.That's because the Nationwide War of Resistance against developed high passion of " mission",and weakened the “aesthetic consciousness”.However,poetry must reflect “the time spirit",and it cannot grow outside of social reality.Under the demand of saving the nation from subjugation,with discussion of the popularization of literature and art and literature folk form,with the practice of reciting poems,street poems,narrative poems,vernacular poems,and political satire poems,southwest poetry promoted the concept of new poetry,poetry view,the development of poetry art.A batch of important poets there made significant contribution to realism poetry and the modernist school poetry.Southwest poetry represents a new progress of new poetry,and it's an important and unique period of new poetry's development.
