In the 21st century,people in China are worried about the moral situation,and various immoral phenomena are constantly questioning people: what's wrong with the“land of etiquette”? Over the years,although efforts of civic morality construction are necessary to improve the current moral and ethical situation,after analysis we found that these practices for citizen moral construction are also “force”.To solve the problem fundamentally,we need to reorient the force inward.If everyone can self-examine and reflexive in moral cognition,self-regulate in moral practice,and self-surpass in moral pursuit,the improvement of the overall moral situation will have a fundamental guarantee.“The ancient scholars were for themselves;today's scholars are for the others.”Confucianism is a kind of moral idealism theory.Confucianism as a school for one's own is the learning of self-cultivation,it provides a wealth of ideological resources and implementation plans for the contemporary moral construction to turn inward.“The Great Learning” has a saying: “From the son of heaven to the subaltern in the Confucian school of self-cultivation,introspection is the foundation of self-cultivation.” Fanyang Zhangshi said: the way of self-cultivation was just introspection.Zhao Shunsun in Song Dynasty said: the origin of the study lied in the examination of the body.Therefore,the study of Confucian introspection consciousness is the top priority of Confucian cultivation and even Confucian studies.It is a pity that up to now,the philosophical circle has not paid enough attention to the study of Confucian introspection consciousness,and has not yet produced in-depth and systematic results.This paper will systematically construct the theoretical system of Confucian introspection theory,fully excavate the philosophical implication of Confucian introspection consciousness,and do some basic work for fully understanding and mining the contemporary value of Confucian introspection.When it comes to Confucian introspection,people tend to think of Zengzi's“three introspections of my body”,and then they would be vague.What is“introspection”? What is the specific connotation of Confucian introspection?Therefore,after the “introduction”,there is chapter 1 “the theoretical interpretation of the categories of Confucian introspection consciousness”.The definition of the core category of “Confucian introspection” is clearly given,and the ideological connotation of Confucian introspection is explored from the aspects of cognition,method,psychology and transcendence.The Confucian introspection consciousness is contained in a large number of poems and essays,chronology logs and letters written by thinkers and Confucian scholars.To study the consciousness of Confucian introspection,we need to comb the historical materials of these thoughts carefully and sort out a clear evolution of the consciousness of Confucian introspection.This is the task to be accomplished in Chapter 2 and chapter 3 “The evolution of Confucian introspection”.The whole history of thought is divided into three stages of Confucianism in Pre-qin,Han-Tang,Song-Ming-Qing Dynasties to sort out the complete thought history of Confucianism introspection from initial formation to transitional adjustment and then to systematic maturity,explore the Confucianism introspection consciousness in each period,and analyze its periodical thought characteristics.First of all,Confucian introspection is a kind of moral practice.In ancient Confucianism,there were a series of specific practices in introspection.This is the content of chapter 4 “specific ways of Confucian introspection”.Each method is a system,and different methods have their own different methods,effects,ritual requirements.These rigorous and autonomous ways of introspection help us understand how the ancients incorporated “conscience” into their daily lives.Comparative vision is a consciousness of this article.Introspection is a common psychological emotion among human beings.Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism all have the introspection consciousness.The western religious confession culture provides a good reference.Chapter 5 “the study of Confucian introspection from a comparative perspective”,mainly makes a comparative study of Confucian introspection,Buddhist confession and Christian confession.Both of them are devoted to the self-improvement of human nature and have transcendental pursuit of ideal personality,but there are obvious differences in theoretical premise,ritual standard,cultural nature and goal pursuit.The essence of philosophical research lies in the pursuit of meaning and value,so there is chapter 6 “the ideological status and modern value of Confucian introspection consciousness”.The system of Confucian introspection consciousness should have its own conceptual category system,specific research content and internal theoretical framework.When the theoretical system of Confucian introspection theory is constructed,it occupies an important position in the whole Confucian theory.At present,the study of Confucian cultivation theory is in the ascendant.Looking at the present,the study of Confucian introspection consciousness focuses on awakening contemporary introspection.From the above contents,it is not difficult to see that the focus of this paper is to make a complete study of the ideological history of Confucian introspection consciousness,and on this basis to construct the ideological system of Confucian introspection theory.Academic goals are always ideal,and essay writing strives to shorten the distance between them as much as possible.
