The Reference Grammar Of Gansu Tianzhu (Huazangsi) Dialect

This paper is a reference grammar describing the Chinese dialect in Huazangsi Town,Tianzhu County,Gansu Province.The dissertation is divided into nine chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.The second chapter describes the phonology of Tianzhu dialect.From the chapter three to the eighth chapter,we discuss the issues related to the lexical and syntactic structure,and the ninth chapter is a summary of the full text.The first chapter,the introduction,mainly introduces the general situation of the county especially the language situation,and introduces the existing research on Tianzhu Dialect,as well as the theoretical framework,research significance and corpus source of this paper.The second chapter describes the phonology of Tianzhu dialect,including the rhythm system,word list and phonetic characteristics of Tianzhu Dialect.The third chapter discusses the parts of speech and word formation of Tianzhu Dialect.In this paper,according to whether the internal members are open,they are divided into open parts of speech and closed parts of speech for discussion.Chapter Four describes nouns and noun phrases.The configuration of nouns and the types of nouns are introduced,and the structures related to the noun component,such as personal pronouns,referential structures,quantitative structures,possessive structures,attributives,and coordinating noun phrases,are carefully examined.Chapter five examines predicates and predicate phrases.Firstly,the two types of predicates,verbs and adjectives,are introduced.Secondly,the tense and aspect in Tianzhu's dialect are discussed.Finally,three types of predicate structures are discussed: verb-object structure,serial verbs structure and verb-complement structure.Chapter six discusses simple sentences and their formation.Firstly,the full sentence and the minor sentence are introduced,then the verb predicate sentence is described,and the structure of the passive,disposition,and causative argument that makes the sentence's argument increase or decrease is investigated again.Chapter seven introduces complex sentences and compound sentences,mainly describing complementary clauses,relative clauses,complement clauses and adverbial clauses.Chapter eight introduces interrogatives,imperative sentences and exclamatory sentences respectively.The ninth chapter is a summary of the full text,summarizing the key points of this paper,discussing the language contact,language area and other related information reflected in Tianzhu's dialect.
