The Study On Capitalist Micro-governance Thought Of Western Marxism

Western Marxism always pays attention to the state of capitalist society,analyzes of capitalist ruling problem and criticizes capitalist system.The elaboration of Western Marxism on the micro-governance of capitalism is based on the change of capitalist ruling mode,which is the premise of the criticism of capitalism.From Marxist standpoint,this paper uses the methods such as literature research,historical research,comparative research and so on,and studies the micro-governance way of reification,culture industry,social psychology,science and technology,consumer in capitalism from Western Marxist's writings.It analyzes the features such as occult,feasibility and flexibility,the operation logic and the consequences of these micro-governance ways.It introduces how to overcome capitalism micro-governance and to realize the human liberation by Western Marxism.The study of the capitalist microgovernance thought of Western Marxism not only adds a new perspective to the study of Western Marxism,but also enriches the content of the whole Marxist theory.The thought of capitalist micro-governance of Western Marxism provides us with important theoretical basis for understanding the micro-governance of capitalism correctly and important reference to be alert to the micro-governance of capitalism and to build a modern powerful socialist country.The paper includes an introduction and five chapters.The introduction part mainly expounds the research purpose and significance of this paper,sorts out and analyzes the research status at home and abroad,introduces the main research ideas,innovation points and research methods.The first chapter mainly includes two aspects.On the one hand,it defines the concept of "micro-governance",and differentiates the "micro-governance" and related concepts.On the other hand,it analyzes the logical starting point of the capitalist micro-governance thought of Western Marxism.The realistic situation of the western capitalist society at the beginning of the 20 th century is the historical background,and Marxism theory and the western modern philosophy thought are the theoretical source of this thought.The second to fourth chapters are the focus of this paper.These three chapters introduce the ways and characteristics,consequence and the resolution of capitalist micro-governance respectively.The second chapter mainly introduces the ways and characteristics of the micro-governance of Western Marxism.Reification,cultural industry,social psychology,science and technology and consumption are all the ways of capitalist micro-governance from the perspective of Western Marxism.It delivers its own values and ideas to people by these materialized methods and contents.From the perspective of Western Marxism,these five ways have realized the micro-governance of capitalism from commodity erosion to consciousness control,from entertainment operation to inner control,from statute concept to adjustment psychology,from production dominance to colonization of life world,from media manipulation to code construction.The last section of this chapter summarizes the characteristics of capitalist micro-governance.Concealment is the primary characteristic of capitalist micro-governance,which is mainly embodied in the non-presence and gradual subduction.Reality and flexibility are also important characteristics of capitalist micro-governance,mainly reflected in the basis of governance,the way of governance and the process of governance.The third chapter combs the consequence caused by capitalist micro-governance from the perspective of the object of action.The micro-governance of capitalism dissolves the proletarian class consciousness and hinders the proletarian revolution.It loses the aesthetic value and significance of art and become a subsidiary of cultural industry and economic interests.It disintegrates the individual's instinct desire and critical spirit,and makes it a one-dimensional existence.It loses the neutral feature of science and technology and exerts the political ruling function.It leads to blind pursuit of false needs and the overall layout of alienated consumption.In short,the micro-governance of capitalism in various fields has led to the mechanization and standardization of people's life patterns,and a one-dimensional society.Chapter four mainly expounds the exploration and efforts made by Western Marxism to solve the micro-governance problem of capitalism.Early Western Marxism focuses on getting rid of the reification rule,adhering to the dialectics of totality,calling for the proletarian consciousness and seizing the cultural leadership actively.Frankfurt school advocates that from the perspective of culture,human's subjectivity should be brought into play,the rebellious spirit of art should be adhered to,and the reality should be changed by art.The Freudian Marxism advocates the power of love,and tries to dissolve the fears and inhibitions by sexual revolution,the elimination of residual repression and the establishment of a sound society.Habermas insists on eliminating the negative effect of instrumental rationality,promoting communicative rationality and realizing the real communication.Lefebvre advocates rejecting "manipulated consumption" and put forward the slogan of "revolution of daily life".Feenberg advocates technological democracy;Frankfurt school and Ecological Marxism also put forward measures to solve the problem of alienated consumption.The fifth chapter comments on and analyzes the capitalist micro-governance thought of Western Marxism from the Marxism standpoint.In theory,it inherits and develops the Marxist theory,enriches and deepens the research content of Western Marxism,and surpasses the post-modernism in some aspects.Of course,it has the own limitations.It lacks of consistency in content,fails to grasp the new rules of capitalist governance,difficult to break through the shackles of the capitalist system,and impossible to find a new road to human liberation.In practice,this thought can help us understand the dynamic process and essence of contemporary capitalist governance objectively,and help us guard against the invasion and infiltration of capitalist micro-governance.
