The Ideological and Political Theory Course,IPC,hereinafter referred to as the"Ideological and Political Course",is the key course for the implementation of the fundamental task of "Shaping Morality of College Students".It is also the main channel to nurture youngsters to take the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to improve the teaching quality of IPC.Adopting the idea of "starting from discovering problems and returning to solving problems",this research begins with the phenomenal problems of IPC teaching to makes a thorough review and analysis of literature review,theoretical basis,problem analysis and other fields with research hypotheses.Verified by means of qualitative interviews and empirical analysis,the main challenges and problems which affect teaching quality of IPC were studied.Hence this research provides a theoretical and practical reference for the follow-up teaching reform of IPC.In this thesis,the overall evaluation on teaching quality of IPC in some colleges and universities around China are made.The following three suggestions are put forward.First,the teaching quality of IPC needs to be improved;second,Curriculum Evaluation Theory and Supply-demand Coordination Theory are the key to achieving the practical value of IPC teaching;last but not least,key factors influencing the elevation of teaching quality of IPC are discovered,including:Students' Demographic Factors,Course Value and Goal Percaption,Teaching Contents and Methods,Teaching Interaction and Organization,Study Involvement and Support,Study Effect and Evaluation,among which,the construction of teaching team and the guarantee of teaching conditions are the main factors influencing the construction and quality of IPC.Based on the comprehensive research evaluation and judgement,this study holds that the teaching reform of IPC in Colleges and universities should give full play to the main functions and effects of curriculum evaluation.It is imperative to adhere to the guidance of Student-Centered,Object-Strengthened,coordinated with Supply and Demand Theory,and promotes reforms on the important six fields,such as teaching design,teaching interaction,teaching methods,teaching evaluation,teaching team,teaching conditions and so on,so as to improve teaching quality of IPC in a tangible way.
