With the transformation of the mode of knowledge production,scientific development,scientific competition and university organization,the university scientific research team has gradually become the basic organizational form of scientific research in the field of higher education.In dealing with cross-synthesis,complex and changeable research subjects,university scientific research teams have the advantages of team operation,complementary,cooperation and mutual assistance,and can achieve higher collaborative effect than individual.At the same time,the university scientific research team shoulders the important mission of cultivating graduate students,and the graduate students' training mode based on the university scientific research team has attracted researchers' attention.This study proposes to discuss the factors and mechanisms that affect the formation of graduate students'scientific research literacy,by taking graduate students'scientific research literacy as an index to measure the quality of training for graduate students and the performance of university scientific research teams,so as to guide the construction of university scientific research teams and the improvement of graduate students' educational quality.This study focuses on the following research questions:first,what is the historical context of graduate students' training based on university scientific research teams in various countries'?What are the characteristics of each other?Second,what is the path for excellent university scientific research teams to train graduate students?What experiences can be learned?Third,what is the structure of graduate students' scientific research literacy?What is the current state of graduate students' scientific research literacy?Fourth,what are the influencing factors of the university scientific research team to cultivate the graduate students' scientific research literacy?How does the interactions among factors that affect the scientific research literacy of graduate students?In order to answer the above questions,this study carried out the research in accordance with the idea of "historical process—excellent experience—current situation—influencing factors—internal mechanism",analyzed the above problems by combining qualitative and quantitative methods,we obtained the following research conclusions.First,through the historical review of graduate students' training in the university scientific research team at home and abroad,it is found that the western countries pay attention to the standardization and institutionalization in the process of graduate students' training,and emphasizes the joint guidance,process monitoring and transparent evaluation.Due to the differences in scientific research basis,educational strengths and the focus of graduate students' training,the university scientific research team have different performance in training objectives,team composition,management system and evaluation method.Chinese university scientific research team is developing in the direction of combination of localization and internationalization,adaptation of interdisciplinary and super discipline,adjustment of diversification and systematization.The ideological and political education for graduate students,support the project of university scientific research team,evaluation of education quality with national characteristics,and coordinated innovation and development in four aspects not only make the quality of Chinese graduate education achieve leapfrog development,but also provide experience for reference to other countries.Second,based on the grounded theory,this study analyzes the text materials of the university scientific research team selscted as the "Top Ten Best Postgraduate Tutor Team in Jiangsu Province".Through open coding,axial coding and selective coding,it sorts out the core categories,main categories and the links between them,and forms the influencing factors and the path model of the university scientific research team training graduate students' scientific research literacy.This study found that the factors that influence the university scientific research team to cultivate graduate students' scientific research literacy include team elements,behavior process and team status.The effects of the above factors on graduate students' scientific research literacy are as follows:team elements can not only directly affect the graduate students' scientific research literacy,but also indirectly influence the graduate students' scientific research literacy through behavioral process,and team status plays a moderating role in this process.Thirdly,the scientific research literacy of graduate students can be summarized into three dimensions:scientific research knowledge,scientific research ability and scientific research quality.According to the analysis of the questionnaire,the graduate students' scientific research literacy includes the following characteristics:(1)the overall development level of scientific research literacy of graduate students is relatively ideal,the development of scientific research quality is the best,and the development of scientific research ability needs to be improved;(2)the total score and each dimension of scientific research literacy of male graduate students are higher than that of female graduate students;(3)the scientific research ability of the first-degree and second-degree graduate students is lower than that of the first-degree and second-degree doctoral students;(4)the scientific research knowledge and scientific research ability of graduate students in general laboratories(research groups)is lower than that of graduate students in key laboratories(research groups);(5)the research quality of graduate students with a team size of more than 26 is lower than that of graduate students with a team size of 5 or less,6-15 or 16-25;(6)the total score and each dimension of graduate students' scientific research literacy with more than 10 years of research teams are higher than that of graduate students with less than 10 years of research teams.Fourth,team elements,behavioral process and emergent states are important factors that affect scientific research literacy.In terms of team elements,the deep diversity of team members,the team members' conscientiousness,openness,extraversion and agreeableness,the mentors' benevolent leadership and authoritative leadership have different degrees of positive predictive effects on the scientific research literacy of graduate students.The surface diversity of team members has no significant influence on scientific research literacy and all dimensions,and neuroticism has significant negative predictive effects on the scientific research quality.In terms of behavioral process,team task transformation,team task action,team cooperation and team knowledge sharing have significant positive effects on graduate students' scientific research literacy and all dimensions.In terms of emergent states,team atmosphere,team cohesion and team trust have significant positive effects on graduate students' scientific research literacy and all dimensions.Fifth,using the polynomial regression with response surface analysis,the study found that when the individual personality traits and team personality traits are equivalent,high level of conscientiousness,openness,extraversion and agreeableness can promote the cultivation of graduate students' scientific research literacy,while high levels of neuroticism can weaken the graduate students'scientific research literacy.When the individual personality traits are inconsistent with the team personality traits,with the improvement of individual conscientiousness,openness,extraversion and agreeableness,and beyond the team level of conscientiousness,openness,extraversion and agreeableness,the level of graduate students' scientific research knowledge,scientific research ability,scientific research quality and scientific research literacy will also be improved.Using multiple regression analysis,it is found that task transformation,task action,task conflict,team cooperation and knowledge sharing play a partial or complete mediating role in the influence of benevolent and authoritarian leadership on graduate students' scientific research literacy.Team atmosphere,team cohesion and team trust play a positive moderating role in the influence of team leadership on graduate students' scientific research literacy.In order to promote the construction of university scientific research teams and improve the quality of graduate students' training,this study summarizes five enlightening suggestions.First,pay attention to the cultivation of graduate students' scientific research ability.Second,implement classified guidance for graduate students,on the basis of individual differences,guidancing graduate students in accordance with their aptitude.Third,the team mentor adopts the "authoritarian-benevolent leadership".Fourth,university scientific research teams should encourage positive behaviors such as team cooperation and knowledge sharing.Fifth,the university scientific research team should fully recognize the importance of team status,shape a harmonious team atmosphere,enhance team cohesion,and foster trust among team members.
